Julia Aston created a beautiful Full Size Journal covered with gel prints. You might be surprised to know that she used Distress Oxide Inks on her Gel Press plates instead of paint (and it works beautifully!) It’s a soft and subtle look. Designer Lisa Hoel also created a Full Size Journal but the paint was definitely flying during her printing sessions. Her printed and collaged journal is an organizer for the Village Collection Die Set (loooots of little pieces to keep track of). Inspiration Team designer Julia Aston created some beautiful (and useful) desk calendars using Eileen’s Display Stand Die. She’s a newbie at gel printing but I’d say she was quite successful! Wrapping Up 2021 – Favorite Projects

It’s hard to believe Christmas is in just a few days! I hope that you are getting a chance to drink in some peace and aren’t too busy. Bonus project!!

Tonya Trantham has been busy this month and has another cute and clever bonus project to share with us! She used the journal page binding die from the Bookbinding and Label Die Set to line a tray and turn it into a tag holder. She has some tags already completed and says she is going to make more to match. This is such a great idea and would be perfect for organizing journaling cards or other ephemera. Gosh Golly, it’s December! How did that happen? This has definitely been a year of great Sizzix designs from Eileen Hull (and her new stamp line!!) She really knocked it out of the park with so many of them (it’s hard to pick favorites but the Folio Journal Die and 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder are at the top of my personal list.) Hello, the holidays are upon us! This month Eileen’s design teams are showing us all sorts of seasonal makes made with her ever versatile products. As I’ve often said, Eileen’s die designs make the perfect bases for all sorts of projects and styles. Let’s take a look at what the Inspiration Team has to show us today!

Julia Aston is ready to set a lovely Thanksgiving table complete with individual treat boxes to place at each guests’ spot. What a delightful touch! The treat holders are made using Eileen’s Ornament Die. Visit Julia’s blog to see how she put them together.

Crafting for the Seasons with Eileen Hull Designs

Welcome to November Eileen Hull Fans! This month we are crafting for the seasons which covers fall, winter and all the holidays therein! As always, the Teams are bursting with creativity and ready to fill you with Eileen Hull inspiration for your own seasonal makes. Let’s take a look!

First we have a gorgeous winter creation from Karen Bearse. This magical winter scene is set into a base made using Eileen’s Vintage Truck Box Die with Wreath & Snowflake Die Set snowflake accents. The tiny lights add an extra special touch. Look on Karen’s blog for all the details!

If you want more inspiration on making trucks you are in luck! If you haven’t heard, Eileen is having a Tailgate Party. Details from Eileen as follows: 

Don’t miss the Tailgate Party!

This event will stream to EHD Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 10 at 9:00 Pac/12:00 ET/5:00 UK. In attendance will be 3 retailers and 6 Sizzix employees from US and UK and Eileen. Therefore, you will see 10 people creating at one time because they will each be creating their version of the Vintage Truck on the Streamyard platform. You, the viewer, will be invited to craft along and there will be prizes! After the event, post a truck and use the hashtag #eileenstailgateparty; you will be entered to win the grand prize. It is going to be amazing! 

For our next crafty creation we have a ‘feeling fall-ish’ birthday card made by Lisa Hoel. She used various flower/leaf dies and embossed the bottom flower layer with Eileen’s fab 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder! Eileen’s  Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments stamp set makes an appearance as well. Pam Bray created a lovely home decor piece featuring Eileen’s Heart Mandala and 3-D Camper Dies. She is maintaining that in many parts of the world, this season is in fact rather summery feeling. Go Pam! Regardless of the time of year, I think you will agree that this project will spread some good cheer. More details on Pam’s blog!
