Merry Christmas & Creative Team Favorite Projects

23 Dec

Merry Christmas from Eileen…

The car packing has begun and in a little bit we will be headed off to my daughter’s. But I couldn’t leave without telling you how much I appreciate you all and wishing you a restful, relaxing and inspired holiday season! I will be back in the New Year with some really exciting news… so stay tuned. 🙂 Many thanks to my talented and generous team for supplying us with inspiration all year long 🫶👏! And thanks to all of you for being there – this community would be nothing if you were’t here watching the videos, commenting on projects and sharing what you are doing. Overall, you are awesome and I love what we have built here. Thank you for everything.

I want to thank all who shared input with me during the holiday party 🙂 I will be putting up a poll in the Fan Club after Christmas, asking what kind of content you would like to see. I’d really like to know your thoughts as we head into 2026!

NOTE: The ETSY SHOP is open! My amazing friend Debbie will be here filling orders while I’m gone. I have new products to add when I get back. 🙂

Virtual Holiday Party!

Thanks to all who chatted and appeared on our Virtual Holiday Party! If you missed it, HERE is the link. So nice to see you all and take some time together in this hectic season.

Inspiration Team favorite 2025 projects:

December is the month when the Creative Team looks back over the year and picks their three favorite projects to reminisce over. It’s always hard to pick just a few! We are wrapping it up with more projects and a round up video.

Lisa Hoel created some intricate journals this past year and they made her top three! You can find more photos and video flip throughs in her post.

Color Wheel Junk Journal
Snippet Roll Journal
Woodlands Tunnel Book

Jenny Marples’ fabulous journals made her top three as well! You won’t want to miss all the details so be sure to follow her on Instagram @jenny.marples.

Warm Thanksgiving Wishes and a Die Cut Holiday Village series

25 Nov

COUNTING MY BLESSINGS…

Hi friends – we are celebrating Thanksgiving this week in the US so Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!  It’s a good time of year for all of us to give thanks for our crafting community! We are so lucky to have a place to gather and celebrate our common interest  – the love of creating. Thankful for my talented team for sharing their inspirational art with us; I am so grateful for each of you and look forward to more fun in 2026!

NO LIVE THURSDAY

I am cooking the turkey this year and am having family over so I will not be going live on Thursday as usual. But you never know – I may be popping in at some time over the weekend. 🙂 Make sure you have signed up to be notified when I go live so you don’t miss anything!

UNICORN DIES

You may have noticed I have been listing some of my retired dies in my Etsy shop – many are hard to find and listed on eBay at outrageous prices! These dies are evergreen – they will not go out of style. Create something unique by combining pieces from different dies. Want to see this in action? Watch my livestreams and follow along with my new series called “Building a Die-Cut Holiday Village”.

On Tuesday I will be getting on the glitz and creating some putz houses using the Notebook, Tunnel Arches and more! Watch by clicking on the graphic below. This will take you to youTube. Facebook has been a challenge lately and dropped a couple videos mid-stream so YouTube might be the better option. And don’t forget to like and subscribe 🙂 Also if you click Notify Me, you will get an alert whenever I go live.

Holiday Village Live!

Are you following the new series called Build a Die-Cut Holiday Village? I love the idea of using the ScoreBoards dies as bases because they are sturdy and will last from year to year. Join me today on the live to get started on this. Don’t worry if you miss one. They will (as always) be available on YouTube.

Inspiration from the Creative Team…

For November, Eileen’s Creative Team is mixing and matching the Home Sweet Home Collection with past products to create any sort of Christmas themed projects – cards, ornaments, decorations or whatever! The inspiration has been awesome!

Pam Bray created a wonderful Christmas Wishes tunnel card. I love Santa peeking through the front window! She used the Tunnel Arches, Windowsill Vase & Flowers and the Home Sweet Home die sets. Check out the details here.

Madeline Arendt has gathered over a dozen different projects, past and present, to inspire you. Here are just two of them – made using the Geometric Box Die and the Wreath & Snowflake Thinlits Die Set and honeycomb ornaments made with the 3-D Ornament Box Die. Head to her post to see the rest!

Lisa Hoel made a passel of cute little gift tags using the Tunnel Arches and Home Sweet Home Die Sets. Love all those little animals! You can find more details here.

Enabler alert!

Eileen added the MEGA Christmas/Holiday Napkin Package to the shop. This is a super huge napkin collection to the shop of 27 different sizes and designs! She packaged it this way so that there is something for everyone. There are lots of winter and nature designs in here, as well as specific holiday ones. All work great for the napkin decoupage technique – she loves the soft effect.

Adventures with Eileen Hull & the Creative Team

2 Oct

September saw the release of Eileen’s new Home Sweet Home Collection from Sizzix. Below is a recap of all the fabulous projects made by the Creative Team…

Eileen is on vacation! (not jealous or anything lol) She has a message for you:
“Hi friends – we are on our way to Rome to start our anniversary cruise. I did not bring my computer, I am not teaching, and I am not planning to go live – this is a real vacation… unless I change my mind. 😀 Debbie is taking care of the Etsy shop so if you need anything, it is available! I have a new idea that I want to tell you about when I get back! Also we had so much fun this past weekend with the kids visiting – however I forgot to pick the winners for the release party so I will do that when I get back too. Please keep sharing in the group – I will be checking in!”

Projects from the Creative Team…

Lisa Hoel made a shaker Christmas tree ornament using the Home Sweet Home Die Set, Tunnel Arches Die Set and Windowsill & Flowers Die Set. So cute!

Jenny Marples had a pile of leftover diecuts and she used them to create this beautiful little framed piece. Love it! Leftovers never looked so good!

For October, the Creative Team will making projects still using the Home Sweet Home Collection but with a Fall/Halloween twist! Lisa Hoel made this lovely autumnal wedding card using the new Lacy Leaves embossing folder and leaf cuts from some of Eileen’s older die sets.

The Esty Shop is OPEN!

Each of the products from the new release have been listed individually. Find them here: Lacy Leaves, Tunnel Arches, Home Sweet Home and Windowsill Vase and Flowers!

Emboss It! in July with Eileen Hull

2 Jul

Welcome to July Eileen Hull fans! Get ready to Emboss It! (Eileen is off to the beach with her whole family. Keep an eye on her socials for impromptu live videos!) A new month means a new theme for the Creative Team. We will be dusting off our EMBOSSING FOLDERS and using them alongside other dies and stamps all designed and created by Eileen. So stay tuned for some creative ways of using embossed paper, card and who knows what else!

Detail from a few past projects from Jenny Marples, Jennie Atkinson and Madeline Arendt.

A big thanks to the team for always inspiring us with their fantastic ideas – we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the month! We’d also love to see what you are making so don’t forget to post it in the Eileen Hull Fan Club 🙂

Sarah Lizzie Is kicking us off with this beautiful card. She embossed the background using Eileen’s Tablecloth Embossing Folder and then embellished it with die cuts from sets both old and new. More details here.

Lisa Hoel is back with Part 2 of this stitchy project. What do you get when you cross a “snippet roll” with a journal? Something like this! The Handbound Journal cover houses an accordion fold snippet roll. You can see more details here.

Don’t miss the project round up from June! It was a month full of inspiration using Eileen’s newest collection.

More Inspiration Using Eileen Hull’s Newest Dies!

12 Jun

As there were so many individual items in the May Release, we are having another month of sharing more inspiration and projects each week from the Creative Team. Scroll down to see!

Hi all, I’m finally back in a somewhat normal routine after our trip. This weekend we went out to our house in Delaware to get it ready for the summer renters. Luckily I was able to squeeze in some thrifting in between cleaning and painting 🙂 Is this something you would like to see in a craft live? Or do you think it would be better to see in a separate video?

This week I am doing TWO 10 ways videos. On Tuesday, we’ll be looking at lots of ways to decorate kraft journal pages- click the graphic to watch:

On Wednesday night at 10:00 Eastern, I am a guest on the Cool To Craft Pajama Party and I will be sharing a fun way to organize washi tape!

There are so many ways to use tags in your journal – create with me on Thursday! I’ll be using my Waterfall & Tags Sizzix die to make them.

On Friday, I’ll be live again; 4 days in a row! I’ll be talking with my friends Cara Brandon and Sheri Kord about an event I’ll be part of on Friday, June 20 at 9:00 ET called Craft Showdown! Stay tuned for a link to the live and make sure to subscribe!

More Project Inspiration from the Creative Team…

As there were so many individual items in the May Release we will have another month sharing more wonderful inspiration and projects each week from the Creative Team.

Maggi Harding created these bold mixed media cards using Eileen’s new Color Wheel Stencil Set plus the Plate & Pattern Set. So cool and fun to make! Check out Maggi’s post and the video short below.

Tonya Trantham also created a bright and cheerful card full of her layering magic. The Handbound Journal Die works great for cutting a card base with that fab scalloped edge.

Inspired by Spring with Eileen Hull

28 Mar

For March the Creative Team designers are being inspired by SPRING! They’ve been creating projects that celebrate the new season – from spring home decor to cards and albums. Any of Eileen’s past dies and products are fair game so let’s see what projects we have to share this week…

Lisa Hoel created a cheerful box with Eileen’s XL Storage Box Die. She made this as part of her Mom’s birthday gift. She’s a quilter so it’s perfect to fill with sewing notions. You can see more details in her post.

Jenny Marples made a beautiful botanical journal using the Full Size Journal Plus Die. It is stuffed full of floral goodness, texture and of course Eileen Hull goodies! You can view the flip through video below.

Designer Sue Eldred made a darling Mini Album chock full of spring cuteness! She made good use of her “spring stash” and used up a bunch of saved supplies. See more on her blog and in the video below.

Eileen Hull happenings…

I’m back from a quick trip to NY to see Mom and we had a great visit! I want to welcome all of the new members that have joined us from the Craft Organization Camp – we are so glad you are here! I hope you will join us for the twice weekly live shows and please ask any questions you may have. Our members are the friendliest and most helpful group you will ever be part of …

While I was with Mom, I had a little time to play with my loom (find yours HERE!) I brought it because it’s so portable and perfect for traveling. Today I want to share some of the new tips I discovered and at the same time, make a closure for one of my junk journals- hope you can join me! If you can’t, make sure to watch the replay…
