New Sizzix Collection & Forgotten Projects Finished

Eileen Hull happenings & her new Sizzix collection…

I’m back from Creativation! What a great time – so exciting to see new products and trends and best of all, catch up with my industry friends!

There were color wheels all over the show floor – YAY! 🙂 I saw a good number of cute little astronauts and space themed products too, along with nostalgic references in designs. I love to watch trends!

I’m happy to say that the new May 2025 Bundle is now available for pre-order in my Etsy shop. There are five items in the set: Bigz XL Handbound Journal ($48.99), Journal Hardware Bigz ($34.99), Colour Wheel Stencil ($24.99), Rainbow Wheel die ($24.99) Swatch Cards stamps ($24.99). The set is coordinated to work together but each piece also stands alone. I know you love having options!

I’m offering the Bundle at $144 (if purchased separately, cost would be $158.95) PLUS free shipping in the US. It’s now available for pre-order HERE! The Bundle will be released on May 1 and will ship immediately after. I’m so excited to see what you all do with it!

The May 2025 Launch Party is coming on May 1 at noon Eastern! Join the team and I for a look at the new dies, stamps, and stencils and all that can be done with them! Team members will be joining me from around the world to share their tips and techniques – I CAN’T WAIT! 🙂

Creative Team designers finishing more UFOs:

For our April theme, the Creative Team designers are either finishing up projects that have been sitting for a time (aka UnFinished Objects), or revisiting a project and putting a new spin on it with different dies. This should be fun! (We’d love to see you share your UFO projects in the Fan Club too.)

Pam Bray found a blank cutout from the Display Stand Die in her stash and decided to turn it into a coffee note desk organizer. Soo cool! You can see more details about this handy make in her post.

Elizabeth Robinson also had a journal cover cut out that had languished for ages. She took her Pocket Notebook start and got to work completing it! You can find all the detail photos here.

Jenny Marples has a flip through of this gorgeous Mini Album journal to share with us. It’s packed full of Eileen product goodness so take a moment to peruse it!

Valentine’s Day Crafting with Eileen Hull

Hi friends – are you ready for Valentine’s Day? I’m not sure why I love this holiday so much… just an excuse to create cute things for my favorite people I guess.

Project inspiration from the Creative Team…

For February, the project theme for the Creative Team is “Anything Goes”. The designers are going back to any of Eileen’s dies or products in their stashes and creating some wonderful projects to inspire you!

Maggi Harding made a very special photo album using the Full Size Journal Plus Die. Packed with darling photos, it is going to make a great gift! Find all the details in Maggi’s post. Also check out her quick video on covering a journal front with paper.

Using the Field Notes & Specimen Card Journal Die, Jennie Atkinson created a clever system for storing Thinlits Dies. Fabulous! She has a video tutorial for you, check it out!

Lisa Hoel did a little crafting for Valentine’s Day and made a display for these vintage Wonder Woman Valentines. (She’s a fan!) The base is made from Eileen’s Display Stand Die.

I am so excited to be traveling out to California at the end of February to Frank Garcia Studio! It is beautiful store and I’ve got some really fun projects to share. It’s worth a trip just to see Frank’s store but while you’re at it come and take a class or two! I’m starting to pack for my visit to Frank Garcia Studio in a couple of weeks! Getting organized in 2025!

I am still at it, going through boxes and supplies, working on the #TIDYUP2025 Challenge we have going on in the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group. If you want to be part of it, just take before and after pics of your space and share with us all. I expect this will be a longer process than a month, but the end I will have a beautiful organized room to create in. Stay tuned for info on more giveaways coming soon!

Hello Fall! Autumn & Halloween Projects with Eileen Hull

Hurray for fall!! Cooler temps, leaves changing colors, sweater weather…ahhhhh. This month we are focusing on autumn and Halloween themed projects here on the blog. I think we are in for crafty tricks and inspirational treats! Let’s see what this week’s designers have to share with us.

Sizzix Surfacez Cork Roll + Eileen Hull Dies

Sizzix has a magical material in their Surfacez line, Cork Roll! It can be die cut, stamped, embossed and used in all sorts of interesting ways. As a collaboration, Sizzix sent some to several of the designers on Eileen’s Teams for us to put it through its paces. Get comfy and enjoy this recap of all the inspiration…

Did I also mention that you can sew the Surfacez Cork Roll? Check out this cute little pouch Eileen Hull made using her Tiny Book Case Die and sewing up the sides. Hmmm… I wonder if a gift card could fit in there?

Madeline Arendt made a double sided basket using the Cork Roll and Eileen’s Geometric Box Die. Two geo boxes put together is a great configuration. I also love the delicate cork die cut decorations on the fronts. See how Madeline constructed this project in her blog post.

Sparkle & Shine Inspiration Wrap Up

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you here in the U.S. We’ve had a month full of Sparkle & Shine inspiration and it’s time to wrap it up with a final look at projects from the designers. We hope you’ve been getting lots of ideas for getting your glam on!

First up is Lisa Hoel with 2023 desk calendar made using Eileen’s Display Stand Die. Eileen has also designed a calendar that fits perfectly onto this stand and you can purchase the printable in her etsy shop. Designer Tonya Trantham created a glitzy gift bag with a fabulous felt poinsettia embellishment using the Sunflower Die. I love it! You could turn the poinsettia into an ornament or use it to decorate pretty much anything for a festive look. Find the instructions on Tonya’s blog.

Inspiration Team designer Julia Aston created some beautiful (and useful) desk calendars using Eileen’s Display Stand Die. She’s a newbie at gel printing but I’d say she was quite successful!
