A word from Eileen Hull & her new Sizzix collection…

This weekend I painted my front porch! It’s amazing how much better it looks and although I was a little sore, it was well worth the two days work. The fresh new color makes me very happy. Speaking of color, get ready for the new Sizzix collection headed your way – it’s all about how you can use color wheels in your projects and art.

I’m happy to say that the new May 2025 Bundle is now available for pre-order in my Etsy shop. There are five items in the set: Bigz XL Handbound Journal ($48.99), Journal Hardware Bigz ($34.99), Colour Wheel Stencil ($24.99), Rainbow Wheel die ($24.99) Swatch Cards stamps ($24.99). The set is coordinated to work together but each piece also stands alone. I know you love having options!

I’m offering the Bundle at $144 (if purchased separately, cost would be $158.95) PLUS free shipping in the US. It’s now available for pre-order HERE! The Bundle will be released on May 1 and will ship immediately after. I’m so excited to see what you all do with it!

Creative Team inspiration…

For our April theme, the Creative Team designers are either finishing up projects that have been sitting for a time (aka UnFinished Objects), or revisiting a project and putting a new spin on it with different dies. We’d love to see you share your UFO projects in the Fan Club too.

Lisa Hoel had an embroidered felt journal cover (made using the retired Book Box Die) that had been sitting around since ahem… 2022. She finished the journal by creating all in the inside pages using stamps, the Plate & Pattern Stencil Set and postage stamps cut using all three of Eileen’s posage die set. Crafting for the Seasons with Eileen Hull Designs

Welcome to November Eileen Hull Fans! This month we are crafting for the seasons which covers fall, winter and all the holidays therein! As always, the Teams are bursting with creativity and ready to fill you with Eileen Hull inspiration for your own seasonal makes. Let’s take a look!

First we have a gorgeous winter creation from Karen Bearse. This magical winter scene is set into a base made using Eileen’s Vintage Truck Box Die with Wreath & Snowflake Die Set snowflake accents. The tiny lights add an extra special touch. Look on Karen’s blog for all the details!

If you want more inspiration on making trucks you are in luck! If you haven’t heard, Eileen is having a Tailgate Party. Details from Eileen as follows: 

Don’t miss the Tailgate Party!

This event will stream to EHD Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 10 at 9:00 Pac/12:00 ET/5:00 UK. In attendance will be 3 retailers and 6 Sizzix employees from US and UK and Eileen. Therefore, you will see 10 people creating at one time because they will each be creating their version of the Vintage Truck on the Streamyard platform. You, the viewer, will be invited to craft along and there will be prizes! After the event, post a truck and use the hashtag #eileenstailgateparty; you will be entered to win the grand prize. It is going to be amazing! 

For our next crafty creation we have a ‘feeling fall-ish’ birthday card made by Lisa Hoel. She used various flower/leaf dies and embossed the bottom flower layer with Eileen’s fab 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder! Eileen’s  Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments stamp set makes an appearance as well. Pam Bray created a lovely home decor piece featuring Eileen’s Heart Mandala and 3-D Camper Dies. She is maintaining that in many parts of the world, this season is in fact rather summery feeling. Fancy Folio Journals – Get Inspired!

Have we really reached the end of March? Wow! All month long the Inspiration and Educator Teams have been busily creating using Eileen’s latest Chapter 1 Sizzix Dies – the ScoreBoards Folio Journal Die, coordinating Folio Page, Pockets and Flower Thinlits set and the Mandala Thinlits die. We have some very fancy Folio journals to share with you this week so scroll on!

All I can say is, “Super chunky!!” to describe this fantastic Folio journal made by Jennie Atkinson. Gosh golly that is cool!! She made it to house some of her favorite ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) so appropriately she mounted an ATC on the cover and the spine as well. Sue Eldred’s fancy Folio journal is actually a clever holder for stationery. Wouldn’t this make a wonderful gift? (Mother’s Day is coming!) After a long and laborious month sewing away, designer Lisa Hoel finished her embroidered stitchery kit Folio. The structure of the journal is actually fabric and ultra firm stabilizer and sewn together. Be sure to visit her blog to see all the detail photos and a tutorial. Card Creations & New Chapter 1 Dies from Eileen Hull

Have you been inspired this month to make some card creations and send someone a little happy mail? The Inspiration Team has been cranking out the greeting cards to share with you. I am always amazed at how makers can use the exact same dies and have their projects be so wildly different. It just goes to show how versatile dies are as tools! Eileen has three new Sizzix Chapter 1 dies that just got released, the Mandala Thinlits Die, the Folio Page, Pocket & Flowers Thinlits Set, and the Folio Journal XL Die. The first two Thinlits sets are proving very popular with the teams for card making! Let’s take a look…
