Spring Project Inspiration from Eileen Hull’s Creative Team

Spring project inspiration time! A new month means a new theme for the Creative Team so for March they are being inspired by SPRING! It’s time to create projects that celebrate the new season almost upon us. Any of Eileen’s past dies and products are fair game so let’s see what projects we have to share this week…

Sarah Lizzie used felt and Eileen’s Painterly Blooms & Background Die Set to create these darling egg ornaments for an Easter tree. Find the how-to and more photos of these cheerful makes on her blog.


Designer Pam Bray is getting ready for Easter as well with this duo of cute candy containers. Using the 3D Teacup & Spoon and 3D Basket Dies for the containers, she decked them out with pretty pastels and flowers (Painterly Blooms & Background Die Set). Get a closer look on her blog!

Spring Colors – Seasonal Inspiration Using Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Dies

Spring colors are on full display outside as well as on the desks of our designers! They are creating inspiring projects for the season drawing from all of Eileen’s past Sizzix dies and products. Like a warm spring breeze, let this week’s inspiration carry you away…

Susie Bentz is participating in the Instagram challenge #the100dayproject so she created a colorful group of ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) for her Spring Colors contribution. “Colors of Spring” with Eileen Hull Sizzix Dies

Welcome to April and our new theme for the month! It’s time to turn our minds to warmer weather and growing things so our focus will be on the Colors of Spring. The designers are celebrating the new season drawing from all of Eileen’s past Sizzix dies and products. You’re in for a visual treat! Let’s see what inspiration we have for this week…

Pam Bray created a delightful Spring banner using the Mini Book Die for the banner panels (so clever Pam!), various die cuts (hello Faux Postage), the A5 3-D Lace Embossing Folder and lots of cute patterned paper elements. Find all the details in Pam’s blog post!

Designer Sarah Lizzie really embraced the colors of spring with this bright and cheerful felt flower spring wreath. Hello spring! This month we are celebrating the season with the theme of Birds, Nests & Eggs. Our feathered friends are busy building outside and our designers have been busy creating too! Let’s take a look at what inspiring projects they have to share with us this week…

Maggi Harding made this gorgeous Shadow Box Frame featuring beautiful patterned papers, flowers and Eileen’s retired Birdhouse Die. She also used the Phone Stand Die to make this a free standing decor piece. (Clever Maggi!) Check out her blog post for all the details.

Fancy Folio Journals – Get Inspired!

Have we really reached the end of March? Wow! All month long the Inspiration and Educator Teams have been busily creating using Eileen’s latest Chapter 1 Sizzix Dies – the ScoreBoards Folio Journal Die, coordinating Folio Page, Pockets and Flower Thinlits set and the Mandala Thinlits die. We have some very fancy Folio journals to share with you this week so scroll on!

All I can say is, “Super chunky!!” to describe this fantastic Folio journal made by Jennie Atkinson. Gosh golly that is cool!! She made it to house some of her favorite ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) so appropriately she mounted an ATC on the cover and the spine as well. Sue Eldred’s fancy Folio journal is actually a clever holder for stationery. Wouldn’t this make a wonderful gift? (Mother’s Day is coming!) After a long and laborious month sewing away, designer Lisa Hoel finished her embroidered stitchery kit Folio. The structure of the journal is actually fabric and ultra firm stabilizer and sewn together. Be sure to visit her blog to see all the detail photos and a tutorial.
