Eileen is on the Road & Greeting Card Inspiration

21 Jan

The Team this month is kicking off the year with a Card Bonanza! We always need a card or two through the year so check out our Creative Team’s greeting card inspiration through the month for birthday and other occasion cards.

Jenny Marples created this lovely floral card by cutting flowers out of fabric using the Painterly Blooms & Background die set. She then cut them apart and made mix & match layered flowers to form the wreath. Awesome! Check out her tutorial reel on Instagram.

Tonya Trantham used the Mini Album die to cut the card base for this sweet little card. She layered on various paper scraps and die cuts to complete it. Lovely! Find all the details here.

News from Eileen Hull…

Hi all, and I hope your 2026 is off to a good start! As I mentioned last week, life for the next two months has lots going on and I am allowing myself to take a break. I will not be doing two scheduled lives a week – however I do still plan on going live when my schedule allows, so please make sure to subscribe to my channels on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Click notifications so you will be notified when I do go live!

I leave today for upstate NY to visit Mom while my sister and BIL take a break with week in the islands. I checked the weather today and looks like a big storm is coming this weekend, so hopefully the drive home is not too crazy!

Have you seen the Monks Walk For Peace on Instagram? It is so inspiring! They are due to finish their 2300 mile walk in DC on February 11. I really wanted to see them since (we live 25 miles outside of DC) but we won’t be home in time 🙁 They are definitely worth watching…

Get organized!

Join me and fellow YouTubers on the Cara Brandon Refresh Collaboration! We will be taking a look at our spaces as the New Year begins. Each artist will be sharing a look at their studio – clearing out and making it more efficient to work in. Each week follows a different theme; join us and follow along at home! Episodes are recorded so you can binge watch and clean along with us 🙂 Follow along and share your progress using: #craftspacerefresh2026

PROGRESS? I am still working on my studio – it’s a never ending job… I received a Michael’s gift card from my son for Christmas and I was happy to find some useful organizing carts and containers; plus there were some great deals to be had!

The ETSY SHOP is openI The Easy Cut Adhesive is back in stock along with the 1/2″ RedLiner tape and 1/4″ RedLiner tape. Debbie will be filling orders while I am away – thanks Debbie!

There are some exciting changes going on which will take a little time to put in place – please be patient. I think you are going to love them.

When school started, one of our assignments was to cover our books to protect them from wear and tear throughout the year. I have a some ideas for updating that concept and creating “slipcovers” for my special books. Hope you can join me today to explore this!

Crafting Adventures & New Team Inspiration with Eileen Hull

6 Feb

Hi friends – Susie and I are just back from a fantastic trip to Florida where we taught at Crafting at the Nest. We loved meeting everyone and being inspired by their enthusiasm and excellent crafting skills. We even got to celebrate Cindy’s (the store owner) birthday – thanks for making us feel so welcome everyone! We also have new Creative Team inspiration for you with this month’s “Anything Goes” theme.

So getting back to creating… I received a box a while ago from AdTech, one of the premier glue gun manufacturers. There’s a new model out I have been dying to test and Tuesday was the day 🙂 I share some tips and tricks I have found while making wax seals.

I am so excited to be traveling out to California at the end of February to Frank Garcia Studio! It is beautiful store and I’ve got some really fun projects to share. It’s worth a trip just to see Frank’s store but while you’re at it come and take a class or two! I’ll be teaching three classes – you can register HERE!

Creative Team Inspiration…

For February, the project theme for the Creative Team is “Anything Goes”. The designers are going back to any of Eileen’s dies or products in their stashes and creating some wonderful projects to inspire you!

Our designers this week are finding inspiration from the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday. Sarah Lizzie created a beautiful card using the Teacup & Spoon 3D Die, Floral Damask Embossing Folder and Painterly Blooms & Background Die Set. Find all the details in Sarah Lizzie’s post.

Pam Bray crafted a fabulous love themed album using the Field Notes & Specimen Card Die. Pam gets bonus points using parts from a partially completed project to make it! Check it out on her blog for details!

Getting organized in 2025!

I am still at it, going through boxes and supplies, working on the #TIDYUP2025 Challenge we have going on in the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group. If you want to be part of it, just take before and after pics of your space and share with us all. I expect this will be a longer process than a month, but the end I will have a beautiful organized room to create in. Stay tuned for info on more giveaways coming soon!
