News from Eileen!

Big Trip, Little Suitcase… LOTS of Craft Supplies! ✈️🎨

There’s nothing like a deadline to get things done—am I right? 😂 I leave tomorrow for a BIG trip, and suddenly my to-do list is getting checked off at record speed! Funny how that works…

And speaking of things to look forward to, look at all the fun we have coming up in November!

✨ Here’s what’s on the horizon:

  • November 10: An exciting new Eileen Hull product launch!
  • A FREE Virtual Holiday Retreat: Time to get creative together from wherever you are.
  • Our Seventh Annual Comfort & Joy Event: Can you believe it’s almost that time again?

More details are coming soon, so stay tuned!

Packing Light… or at Least Trying To! 🧳

On our last big trip, our luggage was lost for an entire WEEK, and I wore the same clothes every day. Honestly, I don’t think people really noticed! 😂 So this time, I decided to be strategic and pack fewer clothes.

Well, the space I saved by packing less clothing has been more than made up for by my craft supplies! Watercolors, stitching projects, a travel journal, and jewelry-making supplies have all made the cut so far. And who knows what inspiration might strike before I zip up that suitcase? There’s still time for a few more things to sneak in!

I’ll try to go live while I’m traveling whenever I can, so please make sure you’ve enabled notifications on my channels. That way, you’ll get an alert when I pop on!

I’m SO excited to explore Spain and Portugal for the first time. New places, new inspiration, and hopefully lots of beautiful things to see (and maybe a little shopping, too!).

Please keep your fingers crossed—and say a little prayer—for smooth travels and NO unexpected travel surprises this time! 🙏✈️

Live Video Crafting with Eileen – One Die, Two Ways

Today: Let’s Get Creative with Margaret! 🎨

Today it’s time for another live with Margaret!

👉 Watch the livestream here!

We’ll each be working with an Eileen Hull stencil of our choosing and a WILD CARD product! Sometimes it’s fun to go off script, pull out random supplies, or experiment with something you haven’t used in a while.

I find that the less pressure I put on myself, the better. Creating art is a chance to let your mind and hands wander, explore, and see where they take you—without worrying too much about how the finished project will look.

Of course, I DO want my projects to look nice! 😉 And sometimes it takes a few tries (or a few happy accidents) to get there. That’s all part of the fun!

I hope you’ll join Margaret and me to see what we come up with. Gather your favorite stencil and a wild-card supply of your own, and create along with us!

When you’re finished, share your projects in the Eileen Hull Fan Club. We love seeing what you make!

Happy creating, and I’ll see you soon—hopefully from somewhere across the pond! ❤️

In case you missed last week’s live, here’s the link to the replay! This project turned out to be one of my favorite projects I have made in a long time.

New Stencils and More from Eileen Hull

Eileen Hull has designed a new set of layered stencils with matching dies. The Sizzix stencil set is the Watercolour Florals & Lattice Stencil Set with the Painterly Blooms & Background Thinlits die set that will easily cut out the stenciled flowers. The Inspiration Team has so many ideas for the new stencils and dies that we are continuing to feature them with our July theme of “Stencil Love” and sharing our creations with you!

Lisa Hoel created a vignette featuring flowers cut using the Painterly Blooms & Background Thinlits die set and housed in the lid from the Slotted Treat Box Plus Die. Delightful! See all the details and steps in her blog post.

Please make sure to share YOUR “recipes” in the Comfort & Joy ’23 photo album in our Fan Club group – there will be prizes! We hope that you enjoy this event and look forward to seeing what we all create this holiday season! If you are not already a member, join the Fan Club on Facebook.
