A word from Eileen Hull & her new Sizzix collection…

This weekend I painted my front porch! It’s amazing how much better it looks and although I was a little sore, it was well worth the two days work. The fresh new color makes me very happy. Speaking of color, get ready for the new Sizzix collection headed your way – it’s all about how you can use color wheels in your projects and art.

I’m happy to say that the new May 2025 Bundle is now available for pre-order in my Etsy shop. There are five items in the set: Bigz XL Handbound Journal ($48.99), Journal Hardware Bigz ($34.99), Colour Wheel Stencil ($24.99), Rainbow Wheel die ($24.99) Swatch Cards stamps ($24.99). The set is coordinated to work together but each piece also stands alone. I know you love having options!

I’m offering the Bundle at $144 (if purchased separately, cost would be $158.95) PLUS free shipping in the US. It’s now available for pre-order HERE! The Bundle will be released on May 1 and will ship immediately after. I’m so excited to see what you all do with it!

Creative Team inspiration…

For our April theme, the Creative Team designers are either finishing up projects that have been sitting for a time (aka UnFinished Objects), or revisiting a project and putting a new spin on it with different dies. We’d love to see you share your UFO projects in the Fan Club too.

Lisa Hoel had an embroidered felt journal cover (made using the retired Book Box Die) that had been sitting around since ahem… 2022. She finished the journal by creating all in the inside pages using stamps, the Plate & Pattern Stencil Set and postage stamps cut using all three of Eileen’s posage die set. Sewing Themes Using Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Dies

Last month we shared our projects for Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Classics Die Release. We are continuing to use these fabulous dies plus others for our February “A Stitch in Time” with sewing themes! The team will be sharing their projects which may include slow stitching and machine stitching but also based around the sewing/stitching theme. We love it when you create along with us, so get out those dies and ideas and have fun! Please share in the Fan Club what you make.

Designer Maggi Harding created a magnetic needle book using the Needle Book Die. It is quick and easy to make – perfect for a gift! Maggi used embossed felt and foam adhesive sheets to make the cover (great idea!) See the tutorial on her blog to learn how to make your own.

Jennie Atkinson made a sewing box inspired by her grandmother’s box, stuffed full of notions and memories. The base was cut using the Book Box Die and decorated on top with a Embroidery Hoop Die cut. She made dividers inside for a Needle Book plus other bits. Find the tutorial video on her blog!

Valentine’s Day bonus project…

The Cantilever Sewing Box Die can be used for all sorts of different projects. Lisa Hoel gave hers a Valentine theme and filled it with candy. So sweet! It makes a great treat box. You could also fill it with buttons, sewing notions or pretty much anything you want. Tutorial and more details can be found on Lisa’s blog.

End of the Year Favorite Project Round-Ups with Eileen Hull

Well, we really are about to close out 2022 with our end of the year favorite project round-ups! This year has gone by quickly and 2022 has been full of creativity. Sparkle & Shine Inspiration Wrap Up

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you here in the U.S. We’ve had a month full of Sparkle & Shine inspiration and it’s time to wrap it up with a final look at projects from the designers. We hope you’ve been getting lots of ideas for getting your glam on!

First up is Lisa Hoel with 2023 desk calendar made using Eileen’s Display Stand Die. Eileen has also designed a calendar that fits perfectly onto this stand and you can purchase the printable in her etsy shop. Lisa covered her stand with the new Sizzix Surfacez Cork Roll and added some great foil shine. See the tutorial on her blog for info!

Designer Tonya Trantham created a glitzy gift bag with a fabulous felt poinsettia embellishment using the Sunflower Die. I love it! You could turn the poinsettia into an ornament or use it to decorate pretty much anything for a festive look. Find the instructions on Tonya’s blog.

Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull Products

Wow, October sure disappeared in a puff of smoke. Time does fly! Here we are with a new theme and we are going to Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull products all month long. Whether it’s holiday makes or everyday glam, I’m sure we’re going to be inspired by the creativity of the designers!

ALSO, don’t miss the special Comfort & Joy kickoff event SATURDAY, Nov. 5th!

We are starting off the 2022 holiday season with the 2022 Comfort & Joy Kickoff event – an all day workshop put on by Eileen and team! You will learn tips, tricks and techniques for working with Eileen’s products and how they may be used throughout the holiday season. Join us for our third annual Comfort & Joy holiday craft celebration to create journals, holiday packaging and containers, cards, small gifts, ornaments and so much more!

The Comfort & Joy Kickoff event will be held on Saturday, November 5 beginning at 9:30 Eastern Time and ending about 4:00. There will be a little break for lunch. The event will be hosted in a private Facebook group.

On the day of the event, attendees will gather in the group at 9:30 AM Eastern time to watch the first live. Eileen will start the event off and every 45 minutes, a new team member will be introduced with a tutorial, technique or project. Craft along live if you’d like or catch up later on replay – whatever works for you! There will be a total of 8 classes plus bonus projects. This is a steal at $20 for the whole day! Sign up HERE.

And the Comfort & Joy event doesn’t end there! Following the Kickoff event, the party continues in the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group! From Nov. 7- 18, there will be additional content provided each weekday for free. Join the Fan Club and join the party!

Time for Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull inspiration…

Pam Bray created a gorgeous holiday decor piece incorporating Eileen’s Sunflower and Geometric Box Dies. This month the designers are also doing a collaboration with Sizzix to use their new Cork Surfacez in their projects. The word on the street from them is that the cork is a dream to work with and looks fabulous. I agree! Pam used it on the background and also embossed on it to make the flowers. Fabulous! Sarah Lizzie also made good use of the new Sunflower Die by creatively using the cuts to make poinsettia ornaments. I love this idea! Sequins form the sparkly center in a perfect finishing detail. These would be great as package toppers or anything that requires a little festive touch. See how to make one in Sarah Lizzie’s post!
