Book Club Love Sizzix Projects

Happy 2018 everyone! The Inspiration Team is kicking off the New Year with Book Club Love Sizzix Projects. My new Sizzix collection Book Club is available now. Throughout the month of January we will be sharing all the cool things you can create with the Book Club Sizzix dies. Let’s have a look at some of the projects in store for you this week.

Book Club Love Sizzix Projects

Pam Bray shares a magnificent Trinket Box and Frame project filled with fairy magic! This project is all decked out in Fairy Dust Collection papers from Graphic 45. Pam’s penchant for paper piecing is a real treat for the eyes with all the loveliness she’s added to her creation.

All month long we have been showcasing Stampotique stamps with Eileen Hull Sizzix dies and the resulting projects have been nothing short of AMAZING! Julia Aston shares a super cute Distress Crayon Holder using the 3D vase die and Stampotique Stamps. Julia added texture and dimension to her holder with Wendy Vecchi Embossing paste and a stencil. Stampotique Stamped images complete the look with a call to “Create Art”.

Sizzix Mini-Album Travel Stationery Set

This Sizzix Mini-Album Travel Stationery Set keeps note-writing supplies at your fingertips. Instead of checking Facebook while sitting at a soccer game or waiting for an appointment, make those minutes count by writing thank- you notes or cards. This Stationery Folder can also be used to corral your coupons, planner and scrapbooking supplies, or to organize photos.

SUPPLIES:

Sizzix Mini-Album die by Eileen Hull
Sizzix Alphabet die by Eileen Hull
Sizzix Twist & Style Tool
Sizzix Matboard sheet- white 6″ x 13”
Sizzix Big Shot machine
Testors craft paint- orange and white
ThermOWeb iCraft 1/4″ double sided adhesive
orange paper 12″ x 24”
eyelets, glitter
embroidery floss

INSTRUCTIONS

Die cut Mini-Album from white matboard. Paint the cover orange and dry brush with white so it is streaky. Paint the inside of the album orange.

2. Place alphabet stencil over album cover and smooth texture paste over the stencil. Sprinkle glitter on top and allow to dry.

3. Fold matboard over on score lines. Cut a strip pf orange paper 4 1/2″ x 24″. Measure out a center square of 4 1/2′ and add score lines every 1/2 on either side of the square. Cut 8 squares of paper 4 3/8″ square.

4. Place ThermoWeb double sided adhesive 1/4″ tape on every other pleat of the accordion folded strips. Wrap remaining paper toward the front of the album.

5. Place accordion folded section inside the folded up album and secure to either side with double sided tape.

6. Punch holes in top four corners of the album and insert eyelets.

7. With the Twist & Style Tool, twist 3 yards of embroidery floss in complimentary colors to create a cord and thread through the eyelets.

8. Add a charm and knot in front.

9. Add items inside dividers as desired!
