Eileen Hull’s October Sizzix Release Recap!

31 Oct

Did you catch the October Sizzix Release Party last week? There were so many projects to share and inspire you. The designers really outdid themselves! Check out the round up of their work below and keep an eye out for even more! You will not want to miss out on Eileen’s latest release from Sizzix.

Here is what Eileen has to say about her new collection:

This Eileen Hull Sizzix release was designed with journaling in mind! If you have never journaled before, this collection of seven products is a great place to start! In it, you will find everything that you need to get going. If you have been journaling for a while, you will want to add these items to your stash – the pieces are very versatile and will coordinate with many of the other dies you may already have.

The base die is the 5” x 5” x 1” Mini-Album, a Scoreboard die specially designed to cut and score thick material AND it cuts in one pass- so easy and quick! You can also use this die to cut the pages that go inside. There are three accessory Thinlits dies: Floral Pocket and Paperclips, Bookmark, Pockets and Toppers and Charms that cut pockets, bookmarks, embellishments, paper clips, charms and extras that may be used to decorate the pages of the book.

There is a stamp set called Fan Favorites with 61 words and phrases to use inside the book, on cards, and tags! Plate and Pattern is a four layer stencil- each layer may be used separately or all together. Create page backgrounds, use on your gel plate, outline and stitch the design on fabric or to trace shapes and fill in with watercolor. The Floral Damask multi-level 3D embossing folder creates a beautiful background useful for journal pages, cards and tags!

Christmas is Just About Here…

18 Dec

Is it time to panic? I must admit I’m feeling a bit rushed with all the “to do” on my to do list. And there are still Christmas crafting projects I have in my head that I want to make. At least the web is full of crafty inspiration for us, even if we can’t find all the craft time we need for ourselves. (Crafting vicariously? Is that a thing?) It just so happens that we have a load of inspiration right here, right now…

Cue the super awesome Inspiration Team and their crafty goodness!

First we have a delightful December Daily Journal from Tonya Trantham. I love that snowman couple with the retro flair! Check out Tonya’s blog post where she gets real about her daily December life. Plus there is pom-pom trim. You want to see it – seriously.

Secondly, Jenny Marples has created a fabulously marvelous felt embroidered journal. Wow! Head on over to her blog post to read all about the story behind this gorgeous creation.

Anna-Karin Evaldsson did a favorite Eileen Hull projects of 2019 round up for our viewing enjoyment. You will ohh and ah over all her fabulous projects (five of them). My personal favorite is this birch trees journal but the embossed cover notebooks is a close second.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of the week! Try to take some time to breathe and get creative. Be sure to share your holiday crafting with us in the Fan Club group. We want to see what you are up to.

Visit us next week too for some Christmas Eve inspiration…

Check back here next Wednesday to see more Inspiration Team inspiration! 😉 The team will be sharing more Christmas makes or roundups of some of their favorite projects from 2019!

Join Eileen on her twice weekly Facebook Live shows at Eileen Hull Designs– Tuesdays at 6:00 pm EST and Thursdays at 4:00 pm EST.
