Fan Club Comfort & Joy Event Wrap-Up!


It’s time for the Comfort & Joy event wrap-up! In the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group, fans have been treated to loads of inspiring content all month long. This is our fourth annual Comfort & Joy which started during the pandemic as a way to stay connected throughout the holidays even though we were separated from family and friends. Now it’s an Eileen Hull Fan Club tradition!

The team created with holiday recipes that included an Eileen Hull die or product! Keep in mind “recipes” can include anything – actual baked goods, journals, banners, tags, cards, home decor, gift wrap and gifts to give and sell. …like fabulous embroidery stitched by Jenny Marples! Wowsers, love this. She used Eileen’s dies (Starlit Village and Envelope, Folder & Flowers) to cut out felt shapes and then embellished them with stitching and beads. Awesome! See more on her blog and of course in the Fan Club.

Lisa Hoel used several of Eileen’s die sets (like the Journaling Card, Envelope & Windows) to make a set of Christmas gift tags and gift card holders. These will be really useful next month! More details will be shared in the Fan Club and on her blog post.

Look at this “Santa’s Letter Box” created by Sue Eldred! What a wonderful idea and such a great holiday decor piece. She used the Slotted Treat Box Die and patterned Christmas papers to make it. See more on her blog.

Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull Products

Wow, October sure disappeared in a puff of smoke. Time does fly! Here we are with a new theme and we are going to Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull products all month long. Whether it’s holiday makes or everyday glam, I’m sure we’re going to be inspired by the creativity of the designers!

We are starting off the 2022 holiday season with the 2022 Comfort & Joy Kickoff event – an all day workshop put on by Eileen and team! You will learn tips, tricks and techniques for working with Eileen’s products and how they may be used throughout the holiday season. Join us for our third annual Comfort & Joy holiday craft celebration to create journals, holiday packaging and containers, cards, small gifts, ornaments and so much more!

The Comfort & Joy Kickoff event will be held on Saturday, November 5 beginning at 9:30 Eastern Time and ending about 4:00. There will be a little break for lunch. The event will be hosted in a private Facebook group.

On the day of the event, attendees will gather in the group at 9:30 AM Eastern time to watch the first live. Eileen will start the event off and every 45 minutes, a new team member will be introduced with a tutorial, technique or project. Craft along live if you’d like or catch up later on replay – whatever works for you! There will be a total of 8 classes plus bonus projects. This is a steal at $20 for the whole day! Sign up HERE.

And the Comfort & Joy event doesn’t end there! Following the Kickoff event, the party continues in the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group! From Nov. 7- 18, there will be additional content provided each weekday for free. Join the Fan Club and join the party!

Time for Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull inspiration…

Pam Bray created a gorgeous holiday decor piece incorporating Eileen’s Sunflower and Geometric Box Dies. This month the designers are also doing a collaboration with Sizzix to use their new Cork Surfacez in their projects. The word on the street from them is that the cork is a dream to work with and looks fabulous. I agree! Pam used it on the background and also embossed on it to make the flowers. Fabulous! Sarah Lizzie also made good use of the new Sunflower Die by creatively using the cuts to make poinsettia ornaments. I love this idea! Sequins form the sparkly center in a perfect finishing detail. Seasons’ Greetings Creations with the Inspiration Team

It’s time for holiday crafting! All this month Eileen Hull’s Teams are getting festive and in the swing of the seasons. There is a decided nip in the air now though and a shift towards the winter and Christmas makes! Let’s see what Seasons’ Greetings the Inspiration Team has in store for us this week…

Anna-Karin has a fun and fabulous mixed-media snowman card to share with us. Wait until you see how she made the vellum ‘snow’ background! You will not want to miss the technique on her blog post. She topped the background with a snowy Snowman Die cutout decked out with all the wonderful details.

Merry Mittens are the theme for Elizabeth Robinson’s makes. She is batch making Mitten Christmas cards (commendable!) and also shares how to make a cute mitten bookmark. (Great idea for a companion gift to go with a new book!) It has a great shabby chic look with a little touch of bling. Check out her blog post for all the details!
