Join Our Comfort & Joy Event Plus Christmas Inspiration

The team and I have been creating and have so many projects, tips and ideas to share with you! Our SIXTH ANNUAL COMFORT & JOY EVENT started Monday! From November 10-21, the team and I will be sharing lots of tips, ideas, sales, giveaways and cozy holiday crafts! Just make sure you are a member of the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group because that is where it’s happening. This is a great time to invite your friends to our community so they can be part of it too! AND we want to see what you are making with your Eileen Hull products! Please post them so we can all be inspired and use ideas from each other for our holiday creating.

Last week we explored alcohol inks and a really cool freeform flower technique! Watch here to see what I’m talking about 🙂 Then last Thursday, we explored ideas for embossing folders and created pages to be used in the Notebook die. Watch that livestream here.

Tuesday we put both techniques together to create an adorable Notebook to give, keep or sell!

Felt is an under-rated material – it’s not just for kid’s crafts! On Thursday’s LIVE, learn tricks and tips about die cutting craft and wool felt PLUS we will be creating a few quick projects using yarn, felt and some other random materials found during a thrifting trip. Join me 🙂

Christmas Inspiration from the Creative Team:

For November, Eileen’s Creative Team is mixing and matching the Home Sweet Home Collection with past products to create any sort of Christmas themed projects – cards, ornaments, decorations or whatever!

Jennie Atkinson created this beautiful Vintage Christmas Concertina Mini Book using the Tunnel Arches and Windowsill Vase & Flowers Die Sets. Fabulous and a great project for using up scraps. Check out the video below…

Fan Club Comfort & Joy Event Wrap-Up!

It’s time for the Comfort & Joy event wrap-up! In the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group, fans have been treated to loads of inspiring content all month long. This is our fourth annual Comfort & Joy which started during the pandemic as a way to stay connected throughout the holidays even though we were separated from family and friends. Now it’s an Eileen Hull Fan Club tradition!

The team created with holiday recipes that included an Eileen Hull die or product! Keep in mind “recipes” can include anything – actual baked goods, journals, banners, tags, cards, home decor, gift wrap and gifts to give and sell. We hope that you enjoyed this event and were inspired to keep creating all this holiday season! If you are not already a member, join the Fan Club on Facebook. Check out the YouTube video tutorial from Amy Powers! Her Comfort & Joy share is how to use Eileen’s Snail Mail and Mini-Slimline & Tickets Die Sets to create Christmas postage stamps you can use on all sorts of projects.

…like fabulous embroidery stitched by Jenny Marples! Wowsers, love this. She used Eileen’s dies (Starlit Village and Envelope, Folder & Flowers) to cut out felt shapes and then embellished them with stitching and beads. Awesome! See more on her blog and of course in the Fan Club.

Lisa Hoel used several of Eileen’s die sets (like the Journaling Card, Envelope & Windows) to make a set of Christmas gift tags and gift card holders. These will be really useful next month! More details will be shared in the Fan Club and on her blog post.

Look at this “Santa’s Letter Box” created by Sue Eldred! What a wonderful idea and such a great holiday decor piece. She used the Slotted Treat Box Die and patterned Christmas papers to make it. See more on her blog.
