More CHA Designers in the Paper Trail Booth

6 Jan

I just arrived in California- so glad to make it alive and in one piece! So here is the last installment of more CHA Designers that will be in the Paper Trail Booth!

Karen Bearse hails from about 30 minutes down the road from me in VA. You may remember her from our exploits on #paprtrail5 to Schaumburg, IL and the Paper Arts Show- read about them here, here and here!
karenbearse2
Karen Bearse has been a life long crafter who became passionate in the world of paperarts. A published technique junkie with over a decade of inky experimentation, Karen has been teaching for the last 5 years at multiple local stores. From scrapbooking and mini-books to mix media, encaustic, and altered arts. No medium is safe! She is now expanding into travel teaching showing students how to improve their everyday life with color. A traveler and self proclaimed Executive Minion on PaperTrail#6 she is excited to expand her role to include make’ntake artist for Eileen at CHA2015. Karen’s favorite thing about teaching is when her students say “I can’t believe I made this”. Visit booth #330 learn a few quick techniques & take home these beautiful projects.

My friend Cheryl Boglioli is special because our trailers are going to get married someday so that kind of makes us related 🙂

Cheryl is a mixed-media Artist on the leading edge of new products and techniques within the various disciplines of the ever-growing market.  As a full-time Artist with an intuitive painting style and passion for teaching, you can find her Living the Art Life ™, traveling and teaching workshops at independent stores and events nationwide with her renovated 1970 vintage trailer, Glinda.  If you see her along the way, she even gives tours and appearances with Glinda.  See more of Cheryl and her adventures at www.cherylboglioli.com.

Come glamping with Cheryl on Saturday 2-3 and Monday 4-5 to create your own 3D mini trailer using Eileen’s Vintage Trailer Thinlet dies and glam them up with Thermoweb Foil!  Someone bring the marshmallows!

Eileen Hull Inspiration Team Favorite Projects of 2015

30 Dec

2015 is coming to an end and what a wonderful year it has been!  In 2015 I’ve released three new Sizzix collections Vintage Kitchen, Vintage Travel and Stitchlits.  I’ve traveled around the USA on the Paper Trail in my trusty vintage camper Scotty and I’m off to do it again as I’m leaving for CHA today with Scotty in tow!  Out of all the great things that have happened in 2015 I wanted to celebrate one of the greatest things of all…my wonderful, talented, and oh so creative Inspiration Team!  I can’t even begin to describe how hard it was to pick just ONE of each team members fabulous projects but here they are , my favorite Inspiration Team projects of 2015!

CHA Designers in the Paper Trail Booth

30 Dec

I am packing as we speak! Despite a nasty bug my grandson passed along, I am almost back to normal and hope to get on the road to California as planned. But I am sure you want to see who the CHA Designers in the Paper Trail Booth are going to be. Make sure and check out last week’s post and the week before to see who else will be there.

First up is Debra Quartermaine…

Her design work has a signature stylish charm showcased in hundreds of published articles, patterns, baby fabric and several books. Debra’s  creativity extends to home décor, event planning and culinary delights in her heritage five star B & B Quartermain House on the east coast of Canada.
Her project is Tea Time with Scotty- an embellished felt teacup pocket with teabag. Sounds so cute!
Now meet Midge and Madge 🙂

Meet Niki Meiners… Friend, Wife, Mom and an all around crafty old soul. Artist, Writer, Creative Director and Style Maker. Lover of old, fond of the new. Craver of excitement, establisher of the calm.

Growing up in a small mid-western town, Niki Meiners was surrounded by a modest, resourceful and very entrepreneurial family. Her simple upbringing spurred her “Can do” attitude and gave her the confidence to try any challenge placed before her. She knew there was more out there than just her small town and set off after high school to explore the world. It was through these travels that she discovered her love of art and her desire to make the world a prettier place. It was not until she suffered a paralyzing illness that she realized she wanted to reconsider her corporate career as a Chief Paper Pusher, and her thoughts immediately turned to her first passion, art. In 2003 she began an odyssey that would take her from product design to publication and everywhere in between. She is known for her distinctive, high quality creations that feature a diverse mix of styles and highly creative approach to even the smallest detail. Niki is an Idea Architect, easily outlining every project from concept to completion. Her creations are simultaneously beautiful and functional and her in depth knowledge of the industry allows her to produce projects with a specific understanding of both the consumers and the manufacturers. This knowledge has allowed her work to be featured in the industries leading craft and lifestyle publications and manufacturers’ websites.
