Wedding Gift Card Box

22 Apr

I am linking up today with a group of designer friends at the the Designer Crafts Connection.  Just click on the link and it will take you around the webring to see all of the participating designers’ blogs. Fun!

I decided to make a Wedding Gift Card Box- the season is upon us! We have two weddings in May and we will probably give each of the new couples a check . That always seems so impersonal though…  if I make a pretty box for it, it seems a little more special. [Read more…]

SNAP! Conference

22 Apr

I am off  to Salt Lake City, UT for the SNAP! blogging conference!

2015-sponsors3

Thankfully I am flying there- letting Big Daddy and Scotty have a rest until we leave again in July for the Paper Arts Show.

PT4-1

Sizzix is one of the sponsors so I will be doing Make & Takes each day to show the bloggers how my dies work. I went two years ago and it was very enlightening- lots of info about how to be a successful blogger- how to work with brands and affiliates, how to use social media and different platforms, etc. I need to go again because honestly it was so much info, very little actually was put into practice. :-0

I will be posting photos from the conference on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter so hope you will follow me for a peek at what’s going on.

I also met up with fellow artist, travel teacher and vintage trailer owner, Cheryl Boglioli. We camped out a night in MA which was my first time doing that- I plan on doing more on future trips!
