Welcome to November Eileen Hull Fans! This month we are crafting for the seasons which covers fall, winter and all the holidays therein! As always, the Teams are bursting with creativity and ready to fill you with Eileen Hull inspiration for your own seasonal makes. Let’s take a look!

First we have a gorgeous winter creation from Karen Bearse. This magical winter scene is set into a base made using Eileen’s Vintage Truck Box Die with Wreath & Snowflake Die Set snowflake accents. The tiny lights add an extra special touch. Look on Karen’s blog for all the details!

If you want more inspiration on making trucks you are in luck! If you haven’t heard, Eileen is having a Tailgate Party. Details from Eileen as follows: 

Don’t miss the Tailgate Party!

This event will stream to EHD Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 10 at 9:00 Pac/12:00 ET/5:00 UK. In attendance will be 3 retailers and 6 Sizzix employees from US and UK and Eileen. Therefore, you will see 10 people creating at one time because they will each be creating their version of the Vintage Truck on the Streamyard platform. You, the viewer, will be invited to craft along and there will be prizes! After the event, post a truck and use the hashtag #eileenstailgateparty; you will be entered to win the grand prize. It is going to be amazing! 

For our next crafty creation we have a ‘feeling fall-ish’ birthday card made by Lisa Hoel. She used various flower/leaf dies and embossed the bottom flower layer with Eileen’s fab 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder! Eileen’s  Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments stamp set makes an appearance as well. Pam Bray created a lovely home decor piece featuring Eileen’s Heart Mandala and 3-D Camper Dies. She is maintaining that in many parts of the world, this season is in fact rather summery feeling. Easter Project Roundups!

Happy Easter from Eileen Hull and her Teams! This week we have a post full of spring and Easter project roundups, both old and new. Flowers, bunnies, ducklings and cheerful colors abound. Spring forward with fantastic Folios! Spring is almost here and the flowers outside aren’t the only things blooming. The creative minds of the Inspiration Team are as well with Eileen Hull’s newest Sizzix Chapter 1 Dies to work with – the ScoreBoards Folio Journal Die, coordinating Folio Page, Pockets and Flower Thinlits set and the Mandala Thinlits die. Take one look at Jenny Marples’ latest project and you are sure to say, “Wow!” You saw the beginnings of this epic Folio last month and Jenny is back with a look at the finished cover and part one of the inside pages. Her collage layering and use of textures and colors is fab to the extreme! Finish reading this post and then get over to her blog stat to see it all!

Designer Anna-Karin also worked her mixed media magic for her latest Folio Journal! Yummy texture and colors combine with the bling of foil to create a super cool journal. The floral element cut using the Folio Page, Pockets and Flower die set adds the perfect touch to the cover. Don’t miss Anna-Karin’s tutorial and give her techniques a try yourself.

Elizabeth Robinson created a delightfully stitchy Folio completely out of fabric scraps. I love it! Flowers, embroidery, batik fabrics – yes please Elizabeth, show us more. =) It is a cheerful and whimsical art journal to be sure and she shows you how to put one together yourself in her blog post.

Let’s not forget Easter is nearly here…

Tonya Trantham certainly hasn’t. She cleverly combined two of Eileen’s dies – the pocket from the Folio Page die set and the Teacup Die to create this darling bunny basket Easter decoration. I love the festive touches and I believe I spy some chocolate tucked away in the basket (well done Tonya). Find out how to make some of your own in Tonya’s blog post. We also just wrapped up the Comfort & Joy Event that took place in the Eileen Hull Fan Club! You can find out more information here. We worked on personal journals documenting past and present holiday traditions. Eileen and Teams provided inspiration, techniques and practical ways to create your own personalized journal using any of Eileen’s Sizzix Journal dies as a base. The Event took place in the Eileen Hull Fan Club private group but if you missed it, it’s not too late! All the links and prompts are in the Fan Club so you can still work on your journal. Personally, I didn’t have time to do much with mine but I will have some crafty time with it next week!
