We are definitely into the holiday making season and we have more festive Sparkle & Shine projects to share with you. The team has been very busy and there is a lot to share so get comfy!

Comfort & Joy Event in the Fan Club!

There are a couple of days left for our Comfort & Joy event. Eileen and the team have been sharing tips, techniques, videos or posts each weekday… so keep an eye out! The event is exclusive to the Eileen Hull Fan Club members – we wanted to do something special for you because you are so supportive all year long.

The Comfort & Joy Kickoff event was a huge hit! I think we all had a lot of fun and there were enough project ideas to inspire us for the next ten years! Jenny Marples cleverly used the Geometric Box Die to create a mini triangular accordion bound book. What?? Such a great ‘out of the box’ idea for using this die! Jenny decorated the little book with glimmery and glittery elements for that perfect touch of sparkle and shine. Find out how to make one yourself on her blog.

Designer Tonya Trantham has a glitzy fall decor piece to share. She used the Geometric Box Die also to create a pumpkin box. I love the gold foil polka dots on the paper and that rhinestone button flower center. Festive sparkle & shine indeed! Head on over to Tonya’s blog to see all the details.

Elizabeth Robinson is rocking the foiled paper as well with her Geometric Box make! It adds such a lovely bit of shine. That gold flower on the front (made with the Sunflower Die) is fab! Her glam box fits right in with her holiday decor and hides a scent diffuser. See more on her blog.

Taking advantage of the glimmery, sparkly goodness of Seasonal Distress products, Lisa Hoel created these Christmas treat boxes using the full Geometric Box Die. Wow, October sure disappeared in a puff of smoke. Time does fly! Here we are with a new theme and we are going to Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull products all month long. Whether it’s holiday makes or everyday glam, I’m sure we’re going to be inspired by the creativity of the designers!

We are starting off the 2022 holiday season with the 2022 Comfort & Joy Kickoff event – an all day workshop put on by Eileen and team! You will learn tips, tricks and techniques for working with Eileen’s products and how they may be used throughout the holiday season. Join us for our third annual Comfort & Joy holiday craft celebration to create journals, holiday packaging and containers, cards, small gifts, ornaments and so much more!

The Comfort & Joy Kickoff event will be held on Saturday, November 5 beginning at 9:30 Eastern Time and ending about 4:00. There will be a little break for lunch. The event will be hosted in a private Facebook group.

On the day of the event, attendees will gather in the group at 9:30 AM Eastern time to watch the first live. Eileen will start the event off and every 45 minutes, a new team member will be introduced with a tutorial, technique or project. Craft along live if you’d like or catch up later on replay – whatever works for you! There will be a total of 8 classes plus bonus projects. This is a steal at $20 for the whole day! Sign up HERE.

And the Comfort & Joy event doesn’t end there! Following the Kickoff event, the party continues in the Eileen Hull Fan Club Facebook group! From Nov. 7- 18, there will be additional content provided each weekday for free. Join the Fan Club and join the party!

Time for Sparkle & Shine with Eileen Hull inspiration…

Pam Bray created a gorgeous holiday decor piece incorporating Eileen’s Sunflower and Geometric Box Dies. This month the designers are also doing a collaboration with Sizzix to use their new Cork Surfacez in their projects. The word on the street from them is that the cork is a dream to work with and looks fabulous. I agree! Pam used it on the background and also embossed on it to make the flowers. Fabulous! Sarah Lizzie also made good use of the new Sunflower Die by creatively using the cuts to make poinsettia ornaments. I love this idea! Sequins form the sparkly center in a perfect finishing detail. Tutorials for Sizzix Chapter 4 Release Projects!

Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Chapter 4 Die collection released at the beginning of the month. (Watch the Release Party replay here if you missed it.) Eileen’s die designs always focus on versatility. She wants us to be able to use them in many ways and provide great value to our creative tool boxes! All month the designers have been sharing their tutorials for their release projects. The possibilities are endless!

About the new release…

Here’s what Eileen has to say about her new dies:

“The Geometric Box is a different kind of design for me. I love the ease of assembly, the unique shape and and the possibility of expanding the box into larger containers! This is a ScoreBoards die so it may be cut from sturdy materials like matboard, chipboard, metal, leather and fabric. The finished box measures 4″ h x 3″ w x 4″ d… or so… a fun feature of this die is that it adapts to how you shape it. You’ll see! Watch my livestream videos to show how to expand the possibilities of this die. Use the Geometric Box for storage – for pencils, silverware, flowers, or tools. The box may also be used as a gift container – imagine adding teabags, a pretty silver spoon and a bow as a get well gift!

The Sunflower is a Bigz L steel rule die – designed to cut and score a myriad of materials. The Sunflower is BIG– it measures about 4″ across and comes with a leaf, three sizes of petals and a flower center! Stack layers of petals to make a traditional sunflower, or change colors and create a pink coneflower. The basic shape is there for you to create your own flowers! Make a stem for the flower using wire and your Twist and Style Tool. The coordinating Geometric Box die works perfectly as a vase.

and a NEW 3-D Embossing Folder!

I love the whimsical patterns of vintage cutlery and that’s why I created this Silverware 3D Embossing Folder! The design is so detailed you can actually see a tiny bride and groom on the handle of a cake server. This folder is perfect for creating seating charts, menus, invitations, cards and recipe books. You would be surprised at the many materials you can emboss – metal, paper, cardboard, Sizzix Texture Roll and more. Once you have embossed the image, rub a light coat of a metallic Luster Wax over the top of the design and you have an amazing result! “

Chapter 4 Release Party & Hop with Eileen’s New Dies!

Welcome to the Sizzix Chapter 4 Release Party of Eileen Hull’s newest dies. We are celebrating with a Live party and this Blog Hop! Eileen’s Teams have been hard at work creating with Eileen’s new products and have quite a lineup of inspiration for you. Here is what Eileen has to say,

“Chapter 4 is finally here! Each release is so exciting and it never gets old…

The Geometric Box is a different kind of design for me. I love the ease of assembly, the unique shape and and the possibility of expanding the box into larger containers! This is a ScoreBoards die so it may be cut from sturdy materials like matboard, chipboard, metal, leather and fabric. The finished box measures 4″ h x 3″ w x 4″ d… or so… a fun feature of this die is that it adapts to how you shape it. You’ll see! 🙂 Watch my livestream videos to show how to expand the possibilities of this die. Use the Geometric Box for storage – for pencils, silverware, flowers, or tools. The box may also be used as a gift container – imagine adding teabags, a pretty silver spoon and a bow as a get well gift!

The Sunflower is a Bigz L steel rule die – designed to cut and score a myriad of materials. The Sunflower is BIG– it measures about 4″ across and comes with a leaf, three sizes of petals and a flower center! Stack layers of petals to make a traditional sunflower, or change colors and create a pink coneflower. The basic shape is there for you to create your own flowers! Make a stem for the flower using wire and your Twist and Style Tool. The coordinating Geometric Box die works perfectly as a vase.

and a NEW 3-D Embossing Folder!

I love the whimsical patterns of vintage cutlery and that’s why I created this Silverware 3D Embossing Folder! The design is so detailed you can actually see a tiny bride and groom on the handle of a cake server. This folder is perfect for creating seating charts, menus, invitations, cards and recipe books. You would be surprised at the many materials you can emboss – metal, paper, cardboard, Sizzix Texture Roll and more. Once you have embossed the image, rub a light coat of a metallic Luster Wax over the top of the design and you have an amazing result!

Wrapping Up Card Bonanza Month!

Greeting Card Inspiration with Eileen Hull
