Seasonal Makes with Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Dies

Hello, the holidays are upon us! This month Eileen’s design teams are showing us all sorts of seasonal makes made with her ever versatile products. As I’ve often said, Eileen’s die designs make the perfect bases for all sorts of projects and styles. Let’s take a look at what the Inspiration Team has to show us today!

Julia Aston is ready to set a lovely Thanksgiving table complete with individual treat boxes to place at each guests’ spot. What a delightful touch! The treat holders are made using Eileen’s Ornament Die. Visit Julia’s blog to see how she put them together.

Welcome to November Eileen Hull Fans! This month we are crafting for the seasons which covers fall, winter and all the holidays therein! As always, the Teams are bursting with creativity and ready to fill you with Eileen Hull inspiration for your own seasonal makes. Let’s take a look!

First we have a gorgeous winter creation from Karen Bearse. This magical winter scene is set into a base made using Eileen’s Vintage Truck Box Die with Wreath & Snowflake Die Set snowflake accents. The tiny lights add an extra special touch. Look on Karen’s blog for all the details!

If you want more inspiration on making trucks you are in luck! If you haven’t heard, Eileen is having a Tailgate Party. Details from Eileen as follows:

Don’t miss the Tailgate Party!

This event will stream to EHD Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 10 at 9:00 Pac/12:00 ET/5:00 UK. In attendance will be 3 retailers and 6 Sizzix employees from US and UK and Eileen. Therefore, you will see 10 people creating at one time because they will each be creating their version of the Vintage Truck on the Streamyard platform. You, the viewer, will be invited to craft along and there will be prizes! After the event, post a truck and use the hashtag #eileenstailgateparty; you will be entered to win the grand prize. It is going to be amazing!

For our next crafty creation we have a ‘feeling fall-ish’ birthday card made by Lisa Hoel. She used various flower/leaf dies and embossed the bottom flower layer with Eileen’s fab 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder! Eileen’s Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments stamp set makes an appearance as well. Pam Bray created a lovely home decor piece featuring Eileen’s Heart Mandala and 3-D Camper Dies. She is maintaining that in many parts of the world, this season is in fact rather summery feeling. Journals Inspired by Nature

Welcome to September! As you know, a new month means a new theme here on the blog. This month we are taking a look at journals inspired by nature! Additionally, the Teams have been challenged to use dies that aren’t normally considered “journal dies”. Let’s see what inspiration they have for us this week!

First up we have Karen Bearse with her fabulous winter themed nature journal. She used the Mitten Die to create a gate fold cover that perfectly matches the theme of the mini album. Designer Pam Bray created a sweet nature themed desk set using the popular Vintage Truck Die. Flowers and butterflies combine to create a lovely shabby chic look! Pam also stocked her desk set with a matching notebook and other office supplies. What a cute addition to your office decor. Details can be found on Pam’s blog!

Lastly for this week is Lisa Hoel’s nature specimens box, Part 1. She created the main structure with the Treasure Box and Stacking Drawer Dies. Shabby chic nature is on display! A little mini journal inspired by nature resides inside the lid (to be revealed in Part 2!) Check out Lisa’s blog for details.

Perfect for a wedding or anniversary, Jennie Atkinson created a trio of gorgeous cards in her trademark shabby chic style. They are so beautiful! Prepare to have your mind blown! Madeline Arendt makes wonderful banners for home decor and she has really hit it out of the park with this sunflower banner. Guess what die she used to make it? You might be under the impression that Eileen Hull’s Chapter 3 Sizzix dies are only for the holiday season. Well, you would be wrong! These “Christmas dies” are for all seasons! All month long the Inspiration Team designers have been sharing fun ways to use these dies in projects that work all year long. Versatility is the name of the game! Eileen Hull’s newest Chapter 3 Sizzix dies aren’t just for Christmas crafting. Due to their versatility, you can easily make projects for all seasons! The Inspiration Team has been busy and has a wonderful assortment of projects to share with you to get your creative juices flowing.

I have to admit I am starting to think about Halloween crafting and it is apparent that so is Julia Aston. Just look at her clever use of the Ornament Box die to create this fabulously spooky little treat container! I especially love how she used one of “stripe” pieces as the moon. Mitsyana Wright also used the Vintage Truck Die to make an absolutely adorable slimline card. Wouldn’t this bring a smile to someone’s face? I’ll let you in on a secret – there is a wobbler behind that truck so it bounces around in a most charming fashion!
