Happy Fall everyone! It’s getting crisp outside and i have had so much fun working with LEAVES! For a look at what I’ve been making, WATCH THIS quick reel. I’m making some cards out of the embossed and waxed leaves and I love how they are coming out.
It’s also candy corn time 🙂 I found some really cute beads and a new tool the other day. I wanted to try them out and make some earrings to give as thank you’s. I used the Tunnel Arches die to make an earring card – it kind of looks like a tomb shape. Happily, the Library Card die is the perfect size to tuck the earring card in. I even embossed the card pocket – love how these came out! I hope you will join me in making these tonight! Click on the graphic to take you to the video.
When I was in Florence, I found a beautiful paper store called Il Papiro. They had lots of marbled products – books, cards, papers, keychains, bookmarks and folders. I know that the papers were made there because they had a marbling bath set up right in the middle of the store! I bought some loose papers and am going to make a handbound Tiny Book on Thursday’s show. Tiny Books are out of stock, but the same technique can be used with any journal die that you have.
