Box Bonanza September Wrap Up with Eileen Hull

Have you been inspired by all the projects shared this month? This week is our Box Bonanza wrap up so prepare yourself for a last dose of box creativity! Eileen has designed many different box dies over the years and the possibilities are endless. Let’s see what is up this week…

Lisa Hoel is getting organized in a mixed media way! She used the Slotted Treat Box Plus Die to create this paper scrap caddy. The outside is decorated with collage stamps (Mini-Slimline & Tickets Die Set), die cuts, stamping, stenciling and DecoArt Wax Effects paint. Find the tutorial on her blog.

Sue Eldred created a darling pumpkin treat box for the favorite little trick or treaters in your life. She used the Card Caddy Die and added a jack-o-lantern face. The beaded handle is such a nice touch! Find the tutorial on Sue’s blog.

Designer Amy Powers has a video tutorial for you about using the Slotted Treat Box Plus Die to make a suitcase style sewing box. Wouldn’t that make a great gift idea? Give her Youtube channel a follow and then see how to make your own sewing box.

July Art with Heart Challenge: Make it 3-D!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend. It’s time for a new Art with Heart Challenge and our theme for July is “Make it 3-D”. The Inspiration Team has been busy creating with my Make it 3-D die and our dear Shelly Hickox had a great idea to use this particular die as the focus of an Art with Heart Challenge. For those of you that don’t know the Make it 3-D die is an easy way to make 3-D projects with your two-dimensional dies. There are three different ways to “Make it 3-D” with the Make it 3-D die so the possibilities are truly endless! You can use the Make it 3-D die with ANY of the Sizzix dies in your collection too. You don’t have to use the Make it 3-D die for this challenge just show us your best 3-D projects! One lucky winner will receive a Make it 3-D die of their own. By the end of this challenge you’ll be amazed at what you can do with the Make it 3-D die once you see what the Inspiration team is creating.

Pam Bray starts us off with a fabulous project using the Make it 3-D die and an old favorite the Lace Doily! Pam combined these two Sizzix dies to create a colorful Candle Box gift set but this project can be used for all of your gift giving needs and more!

Tracy Evans is no stranger to 3-D projects and her latest creation is as wonderful as ever! Tracy has used my Make it 3-D, Passport Book, and Recipe Card dies to create a trifecta of three dimensional Mixed-Media magic with DecoArt Media. I’m just giddy over those accent frames aren’t you?

Hey there! Summer is right around the corner! Here at Art with Heart we are celebrating the upcoming Summer season with a new challenge for the month of June. Anna-Karin has an absolutely stunning Passport Book Crackle Album to share with you. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover but this project is the exception to that rule. Using my new Passport Album die and DecoArt Media products Anna-Karin has created a beyond beautiful album for her two boys.

I don’t know about you but I think DecoArt Media + my Sizzix dies are a match made in Mixed-Media heaven.
