All month-long the team will be sharing ways to use Crescent products like RENDR paper and Photo Mat Art Boards with my new Sizzix collection Paper Flower Party! Julia framed a Crescent Photo Mat Board and used my Flower Pocket die to create an ideal holster for pens, post it’s, chalk and an eraser! An elegant Romance Flower accented by Spring Leaves completes the look.

The Paper Flower Party Continues…

Last week we gathered every night on Facebook Live to see some creative ways to use my new Sizzix flower dies. It worked so well, the Paper Flower Party continues through this coming week! (If you missed the fun, you can go here for links to last weeks’ shows.)

I’ll be sharing more unique tips and tricks for creating beautiful dimensional flowers to use for parties, weddings, and special events as well as on cards, layouts, home decor, sewing projects and to make hair accessories!

This week we will be cutting out new materials to make flowers- and we’re not just talking paper… We may cut things that you never IMAGINED could be run through the Big Shot! To join the party, visit my Eileen Hull Designs page on Facebook Live every night this week at 6 PM EST. While you are watching, tap the top right corner of the screen and hit subscribe- then you will be notified when the next broadcast starts! Wow- it has been such a busy week!

The Sizzix Paper Flower Party die collection has officially launched and we have been CELEBRATING! For the past three nights I have been done Facebook Live videos showing how to make flowers out of different materials.

On Tuesday night, I showed how to make cardstock flowers- see the video here. We used the Romance die to make this.

Crescent Art Projects with Eileen Hull Sizzix Dies

Tracy Evans starts us off with a gorgeous Photo Mat Art Board project using my Heart and Soul Flower die with RENDR paper. Tracy is no slouch when it comes to Mixed-Media and claims that RENDR paper is “Absolutely perfect for Mixed-Media!” I for one, am a believer!

Appreciation Flower Pocket by Anita Scroggins

Lucky us-! Today we will see how to make an Appreciation Flower Pocket by Anita Scroggins, our featured Guest Designer. Anita shares this cool project that she made for her Girl Scout Camp volunteers using the new Paper Flower Party Sizzix dies.

I met Anita at the Crafty Scrapper on my first Paper Trail trip passing through Texas. We had so much fun in class that we stayed in touch. Creative friends are such a blessing!

Hi everyone, I’m Anita from The Flamingo Chronicals and I’m super happy to be featured here on Eileen’s blog today. I am a scrapbooker who also does mixed media and other crafts. I also teach and do design work for several manufacturers. It’s rough, but someone has to do it!

My style is lots of flowers and bling, and no white space. Less is less and more is best is my motto. I have two grown up daughters and a very cute granddaughter to keep my busy these days. I live just outside Dallas, TX with my Irish Wolfhound and my hubby of almost 30 years.

I am the Director for Girl Scout Camp every summer so I am always in need of Thank You gifts. Today I have combined the Flower Pocket Die and the Candy Cup die to come up with a quick way to show appreciation. I love how easy the Flower Pocket Die is to use and how quick it goes together. Two pieces and three strip of tape – and you are done!

For the front of the Flower Pockets I wanted a tiny little flowers over flowing with flowers. How cute are these? I used the Candy cup die, some LittleB chipboard, paper, and an adhesive sheet from Thermoweb.

After die cutting I cut the sections apart, inked them, shaped them a bit, then adhered using Super Tape down the sides and a Foam Square in the middle. I used a hot glue gun to adhere a variety of wired and flat flowers in place.
