The creative recipe for March has been a fun mix of words, tags and pockets! Designers have been whipping up a delectable spread of projects for your inspiration and the fun isn’t stopping yet. Let’s see what we have for this week…

Lisa Hoel decided to make tags as the background for a card. She die cut one using the Tile Alphanumeric Die and embossed others with some of Eileen’s 3-D Embossing Folders. So much texture! Find the details on her blog post.

Designer Maggi Harding has a few projects to share. She’s been a busy bee for sure! First, she made a whole slew of ATCs with matching pockets using the Library Pocket, ATC Card & Tabs Die Set. (See them all in her blog post.)

I’ve been using words like “Wow!” and “Fabulous!” in regards to the creative inspiration being shared by the designers. They’ve been making projects combining tags, pockets and words all month long. The sentiments on cards are of course a great way to ‘use your words’. Designer Sue Eldred made some beautiful cards to share with us. It’s good to have a ready to go card stash! Love of Journals – Inspiration with Eileen Hull

This month the designers are sharing their love of journals and are using Eileen Hull’s latest dies and embossing folder from Sizzix. Sizzix Project Tutorials with Eileen Hull’s Chapter 1 Dies!

We are wrapping up a month of Sizzix project tutorials highlighting the designers’ fabulous makes from the Chapter 1 Release Party. We hope you’ve been inspired and are having your own creative fun with Eileen’s new dies. Here’s Eileen’s recap of them in case you’re out of the loop:

“Introducing the Chapter 1, 2023 Eileen Hull/Sizzix collection!

Let’s start with the ScoreBoards Frame Pocket Journal – this is a Bigz Plus die so you will need a 9” cutting machine. The Journal measures 4 1/2” x 6 1/2” x 1 1/4” with an adjustable spine. What makes this die special are the additional pieces on the die, a pocket to hold ephemera, a frame and flap! These extra pieces may be used in many of my other journals or they can be used independently. The die may also be configured in a few different ways so watch the blog and Facebook live shows for ideas.

There are two Thinlits sets that coordinate with the Journal. You asked for a new alphabet – you got it – and I added numbers too! The Tile Alphanumeric is very versatile because you can use both the positive and negative shapes. Each letter is perforated which makes it easy to create and line up words.

The other Thinlits set is the Library Pocket, ATC Card and Tab Die Set – a journal essential! Use the ATC card die to knock out a bunch of Artist Trading Card bases and add the library pocket to package it up to swap. The Tab die is perfect to add to the Journal pages or on the ATC.

and a NEW 3-D Embossing Folder!

The last item is a 3D embossing folder called Tablecloth which was inspired by a crocheted cotton piece from my Mom. This adds beautiful texture and dimension to card backgrounds, book pages or tags!”

When she needed a quick thank you card, Maggi Harding turned to the Tile Alphanumeric and Library Pocket, ATC Card & Tabs Dies. With the addition of gorgeous patterned paper, she turned out a beautiful creation in no time flat. Find the details in her post!

Wow! Jenny Marples really thought outside of the box so to speak and used the Frame Pocket Journal Die to create an accordion folder to hold ephemera and those extra bits.
