Eileen Hull’s New Stamp Release from Maker Forte

By partnering with Maker Forte, Eileen Hull’s stamps bring you a brand new product line that integrates with Eileen’s dies (Snail Mail Thinlits, we’re looking at you!) These next two sets are being released today. (If you missed the first two releases, look HERE and HERE.) Eileen’s Inspiration and Education Teams have been hard at work to bring you a ton of inspiration! Let’s take a look at Eileen’s new stamp release and see what she has to say about them:

Snail Mail Postage

Postage stamps and envelopes have always fascinated me – I collected them as a child. My family and neighbors would give me their old envelopes to play with. There was so much to be discovered on each envelope! Like… where and when the letter was sent, who it was from (you can tell a lot by people’s handwriting), etc. It was endlessly fascinating to wonder about the people sending and receiving the mail. I was so intrigued that I actually began writing to a pen pal who lived in IL and was one of 12 kids. Talk about fascinating 🙂 I loved the miniature art on the envelopes – stamps! I would tear them off and organize them into all different categories.

The thought of re-creating some of the cancellation stamps and other postal references as stamps just makes me so happy! I designed the stamps to coordinate with the Snail Mail – Everyday Sentiments frame, and also the Sizzix Snail Mail Die – love when products work together to create a cool end result!

Button Cards #2

The first Button Cards stamp set that I designed sold out right away so I decided to design another set… and even personalized them a little 🙂 This set contains button cards in three different sizes (the smallest is just so adorable <3) You can stitch real physical buttons on the cards and then use them in card-making, journal-making or sewing projects, or draw buttons on by hand. The cards are so much fun to decorate and put in your journals or tuck into pockets!

New Chapter 1 Dies, a Closer Look

Did you catch Eileen Hull’s new Chapter 1 Sizzix Dies live Release Party at the beginning of the month? We also had a Blog Hop with the Teams and there was certainly a ton of inspiration there with the new die projects. For the rest of the month the designers have been sharing the tutorials for their creations so you can get all the how-to!

The Book Box can be used to make a book or a box that holds A-2 greeting cards. What a great way to package handmade cards … or a quick and easy book! Add the Vintage Buttons folder to create vintage backgrounds for cards, journals, pages and tags. The 3D effect is stunning when you add a little Luster Wax to bring out the highlights…

Challenge accepted! Eileen challenged Jenny Marples with the task of turning the Book Box Die into a bound journal. Of course Jenny created an absolutely fabulous junk journal and you will not want to miss all the detail photos and her excellent tutorial on how to create and bind it.

Keep going, more inspiration ahead!

Lisa Hoel also used the Book Box Die to create a holder for matching cards. The top of the box is embellished with a Vintage Buttons embossed panel and the card fronts were cut out from gel prints with the Snail Mail die. Find out all the details and see more photos in her post!

Tonya Trantham created a phone stand with a twist! She used the Phone Stand Die and the Vintage Truck Box Die to create the pocket. What? You will just have to read Tonya’s tutorial to find out her clever die hack. Take a look!

Eileen Hull Teams updates!

Eileen here! I’m so happy to announce our Inspiration and Educator Teams for 2022!

We say a sad farewell to Julia Aston who has been an integral part of the Inspiration Team for many years. She and her husband have both retired and want some time to enjoy this new phase! We wish her the best and thank her for her many gorgeous projects and friendship- don’t be a stranger Julia!

We welcome Jennie Atkinson to the Inspiration Team – she has so many creative talents! She lives in Shetland, Scotland and enjoys knitting, appearing in plays and paper crafting. You may recognize her shabby feminine style from her work on the Educators Team, and we are so looking forward to seeing more from Jennie, including the great YouTube videos she has been sharing – don’t forget to subscribe!

There are two new Educator Team members too! We are so happy that Angela Beavers has joined – she owns a scrapbook store in Circleville, OH called Creative Chaos (don’t you love the name?). She is a whiz at 3D crafting and I know you will love seeing her fun makes!

The second new team member is Sharon Curtis! Sharon is a demonstrator for Sizzix on Create & Craft TV and I am always excited to watch when she demos my dies. She makes it look so easy to create gorgeous projects ON CAMERA (which is not easy at all!). Sharon shares lots of great YouTube videos – you should check them out and subscribe to her channel!

Returning Team members:

It makes me SOOOO happy to announce that the rest of the Inspiration Team has signed on for yet another year of creating together! The team is super talented and so generous in sharing their huge bank of crafty know-how. <3 They do so much for me and put up with my crazy schedule– a huge round of applause for my team! Crafting for the Seasons with Eileen Hull Designs

Welcome to November Eileen Hull Fans! This month we are crafting for the seasons which covers fall, winter and all the holidays therein! As always, the Teams are bursting with creativity and ready to fill you with Eileen Hull inspiration for your own seasonal makes. Let’s take a look!

First we have a gorgeous winter creation from Karen Bearse. This magical winter scene is set into a base made using Eileen’s Vintage Truck Box Die with Wreath & Snowflake Die Set snowflake accents. The tiny lights add an extra special touch. Look on Karen’s blog for all the details!

If you want more inspiration on making trucks you are in luck! If you haven’t heard, Eileen is having a Tailgate Party. Details from Eileen as follows: 

Don’t miss the Tailgate Party!

This event will stream to EHD Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 10 at 9:00 Pac/12:00 ET/5:00 UK. In attendance will be 3 retailers and 6 Sizzix employees from US and UK and Eileen. Therefore, you will see 10 people creating at one time because they will each be creating their version of the Vintage Truck on the Streamyard platform. You, the viewer, will be invited to craft along and there will be prizes! After the event, post a truck and use the hashtag #eileenstailgateparty; you will be entered to win the grand prize. It is going to be amazing! 

For our next crafty creation we have a ‘feeling fall-ish’ birthday card made by Lisa Hoel. She used various flower/leaf dies and embossed the bottom flower layer with Eileen’s fab 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder! Eileen’s  Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments stamp set makes an appearance as well. Pam Bray created a lovely home decor piece featuring Eileen’s Heart Mandala and 3-D Camper Dies. She is maintaining that in many parts of the world, this season is in fact rather summery feeling. Inspired by some of Eileen’s past flower die designs and her favorite doodling style, the Wonderful World of Flowers set is wonderful indeed! The designers went to town using this fun set to create a myriad of cheerful cards and other projects. Don’t miss the list of blog links below to take a look.

Snail Mail – Inspire Stamp Set

This stamp set coordinates with the Snail Mail – Everyday Sentiments set which contains a Faux Postage Frame. This frame fits on the front of an A-2 card and can be customized in many ways using the sentiments! The sentiments and icons in the new Inspire Set are sized to fit into the postage frames. Future Snail Mail sets will also coordinate so you can build your collection for endless versatility!

Vintage Damask

Inspired by vintage wallpaper found in Eileen’s home in upstate NY, this stamp creates a beautiful background image. Look for Facebook Live videos showing ways to use this subtle pattern in your journals, cards and three dimensional projects!

Buttons, Cards & More

This set of stamps is designed to help create journaling cards and small pieces of ephemera for junk journaling. Watch the Stamp Release video to see how to create collectible button cards to send to friends or use in your journals!

Snail Mail Everyday Sentiments

This stamp set contains a Faux Postage Frame and a set of stamps including text and small icons that are designed to fit inside the postage panes. In each ensuing stamp release, there will be another set of stamps featuring different themes and seasons that will fit inside the frame . You will only have to buy the frame once – coordinating sets will follow. This frame fits on the front of an A-2 card and can be customized in many ways using the sentiments!
