Hey everyone! Before we ring in the New Year tonight I’d like to take one last look back on the Ultimate List of 2018 Eileen Hull Sizzix Projects. We’ve seen so many amazing projects this year including two new Sizzix collections new Color Box Blends Inks and a serious punch of ingenuity from my talented Inspiration Team. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next year! Until then let’s take a walk down memory lane and look back at the IT’s favorite projects of 2018.

Tonya Trantham shares her Top 5 Eileen Hull projects including Journals, Flip Books, Shadowboxes, and Home Decor pieces. My favorite project from this fabulous bunch is her Quilt Queen Shadowbox project featuring Shirley Temple wearing a thimble crown! This project is sure to “sew” some creativity into your artful heart.

Elizabeth Robinson joined the Inspiration Team at the beginning of 2018 and has not disappointed. Elizabeth’s creative style has been a welcome addition to the IT and we are so lucky to have her. She is sharing a roundup of all her 2018 projects and I’ve chosen this sweet love card as my personal favorite. I just adore the use of my Colorbox Blends inks and Journaling cards on this project.

Jenny Marples shares her favorite project of 2018 and she could not have picked a better one. All of Jenny’s makes are absolutely amazing but this wrap journal is next level! This project is exquisite in every way. You do not want to miss taking a long look at each page filled to the brim with creative details.

Nicole Wright shares a roundup featuring her favorite creations of 2018. I must say it was really tough to pick a favorite as each creation is so unique. I finally settled on this Letter It Storage Box. I just love the clean and simple black and white on this creation. It sure packs quite a punch don’t you think?

Lisa Hoel’s Roundup is a sheer delight. No need for me to pick a favorite as she’s included a collage of all her faves for us. I just adore Lisa’s whimsical style. You are sure to enjoy a look back at Lisa’s lovely creations.

Last but not least, Maggi Harding shares a roundup of all her faves. Each and everyone of Maggi’s creations has been a gorgeous feast for the eyes. She’s narrowed it down to her top three…a most difficult decision I’m sure. I’ve chosen her Ocean themed Wrap Journal Purse and Mini Book project as my personal favorite.

Favorite Eileen Hull Projects of 2018

Hey everyone! I can’t believe the year is nearly over. As another year comes to a close the Inspiration Team is sharing some of their Favorite Eileen Hull Projects of 2018. So many amazing projects were created this year and I have so enjoyed taking a walk down memory lane and seeing them again. Check out all of these great projects created by my oh-so-talented team!

Julia Aston shares a roundup post of all her favorite projects created this past year. She has quite the array of creations from Cards, Journals, Holiday home decor and more! My personal favorite is this lovely wrap journal for its simple elegance. You don’t always need bling to be beautiful sometimes a big bow and some simple touches will do.

Susie Bentz shares her favorite 2018 makes in a roundup post featuring cards, her famous cutlery caddies, Trinket Boxes and gorgeous journals galore! Susie has worked wonders with the Journaling Card dies from Book Club Chapter 2 and this Leather Wrap Journal is one of my favorite examples of her Journal Card prowess.

Eileen Hull Holiday Sizzix Projects and Past Favorites

Hey everyone! Throughout the rest of December the Inspiration Team will by sharing their Eileen Hull Holiday Sizzix Projects and past favorite creations from 2018. We’ve had an amazingly creative year here and want to end 2018 with a bang! Come along and see the inspired Holiday creations the team has in store for you today.

Lisa Hoel starts us of with a jaw dropping Christmas Travelers project created using my Suitcase die and new Tim Holtz Holiday dies. This creation features a stamped nativity scene on the front and inside there’s a 3-D recreation of the Wise Men making there journey to see the new born king.

Lisa has lots of tips and tricks for you inside her not to be missed tutorial.

Pam Bray shares an extensive roundup of all her favorite projects she’s created throughout the year. It’s truly amazing to see the body of work she’s amassed using Eileen Hull dies, ColorBox Blends and Graphic 45 papers.

Tonya Trantham shares a sweet Floral Pocket Project she created last month. Perfect for keeping cards, tape, scissors and other wrapping supplies.

Maggi Harding shares a sweet, snowy Christmas Card project using the house pocket die. The snow topped roof was created using modeling paste along with Bo Bunny Glitter paste to complete the sparkling snow look.

Maggi whipped up a second project that is just too cute! This quick and easy mini book project was creating using the fan favorite Needle Book die and Graphic 45 St. Nicholas papers. This project makes the perfect gift topper or stocking stuffer.

Susie Bentz shares a stunning Snowflake Card created using my Journal Card die and Colorbox Blends. Susie inked white cardstock in a variety of winter hued blends ink to die cut this sweet selection of snowflakes. She then added a mixed blend of bling to create sparkle and shine.

Eileen Hull Winter Holiday Sizzix Projects

Hey everyone! Hope all of my stateside friends had a nice Thanksgiving weekend. The Inspiration Team is jumping into the Holiday season with both feet. Julia Aston shares a whimsical winter scene using my beloved Cupcake Stand die as a base. The Pennant die cuts included with the die were turned into evergreen trees nestled into embossing powder snow. Patterned papers and a trio of tiny deer complete the scene.

So on to the project… I decided to create a Memory Box for storing holiday treasures such as 3″ x 4″ Journalling cards, Instax photos, gift tags and notes. The box is covered with gift wrap- this is a great alternative to patterned paper. There are so many festive holiday patterns this time of year. I find it easiest to adhere the paper to the matboard first, then die cut the whole piece at once.

The Trinket Box is a Sizzix ScoreBoards die which is specially designed to cut and score thick materials so that the end result is a sturdy project. (You can find the die in my Etsy store) It is designed to have multiple uses- books, boxes, frames, shadowboxes, and drawers- all from this one die!

Sizzix Little Sizzles matboard- white
Sizzix ScoreBoards Book & Pages, Trinket Box and Frame by Eileen Hull
Sizzix Thinlits Floral Arch & Words by Eileen Hull
Therm O Web Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets
Therm O Web Supertape 1/4″
Clearsnap Blends inks by Eileen Hull (Ebony)
Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Merry Christmas Stamp
Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Softly Falling Snow embossing powder
gift wrap
jingle bells
dark green and off white cardstock
Zip Dry glue
hot glue gun
velvet ribbon
2 glass knobs

Instructions

Here’s a video showing how to assemble this die (it starts at about 36 minutes)

Cover 2 sheets of matboard with Easy Cut Adhesive on the front and back. Add wrapping paper to both sides. Die cut: 1 frame, 1 frame piece with NO oval cut out, 1 binding strip, 2 shadowbox frame pieces, 1 rectangle
Add adhesives on tabs and build shape. Attach 2 shadowbox frame pieces together at end tabs and form into rectangle.
Stamp Merry Christmas with Ebony Blends ink on off-white cardstock and position behind aperture of frame (front cover).
Die cut about eight branches from the Floral Arch die from green paper. Dab blobs of glue on leaves and add embossing powder, then heat. Glue on colored jingle bells. Add a small red velvet bow.
Adhere front cover to back of binding tab. Place binding back tab under shadowbox section of box.
Hot glue glass knobs to bottom of box so it can stand up. Position in the middle of the box so it is balanced.

You can create this project as home decor, favors for your Thanksgiving or Christmas Table, you can even use it for weddings and showers. Just change the patterned papers to suit your event.
