Art with Heart Challenge August “Choose Your Own Theme”

Hello there creative friends! Wow can you believe we are in our final month of summer? Here at Art with Heart we want to end the summer with a bang so we’re going to let YOU choose your own theme for the August Art with Heart Challenge! Not only that, we’ve got an awesome Sizzix prize pack that you can win just for sharing your creations with us. For this challenge we encourage you to dig deep into your stash and break out some oldies but goodies and make them new again! Use forgotten dies, stamps, trims, techniques or what have you and make them new again with a fresh project. The theme you choose is completely up to you!

The Inspiration Team will be creating projects with some of my older dies from my earlier collections. One lucky winner will receive a prize pack of dies the IT is creating with! Let’s see what the girls have in store for us this week….

Tracy Evans is sharing a “birdy-ful” bonanza of creativity and technique with her “Take Flight” Artist Trading Block creation. Using one of my older sets Birds and Butterflies with one of my ATB dies she’s made the old new again and chosen a lovely theme to go along with it!

Pam Bray has combined my old and new dies to create one phenomenal creation! With the help of my Make it 3-D die, luggage tag die, and other old favorites Pam has created a spectacular Luggage tag house expertly decorated with DecoArt Media and Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe papers.

July Art with Heart Challenge: Make it 3-D!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend. It’s time for a new Art with Heart Challenge and our theme for July is “Make it 3-D”. The Inspiration Team has been busy creating with my Make it 3-D die and our dear Shelly Hickox had a great idea to use this particular die as the focus of an Art with Heart Challenge. For those of you that don’t know the Make it 3-D die is an easy way to make 3-D projects with your two-dimensional dies. There are three different ways to “Make it 3-D” with the Make it 3-D die so the possibilities are truly endless! You can use the Make it 3-D die with ANY of the Sizzix dies in your collection too. You don’t have to use the Make it 3-D die for this challenge just show us your best 3-D projects! One lucky winner will receive a Make it 3-D die of their own. By the end of this challenge you’ll be amazed at what you can do with the Make it 3-D die once you see what the Inspiration team is creating.

Pam Bray starts us off with a fabulous project using the Make it 3-D die and an old favorite the Lace Doily! Pam combined these two Sizzix dies to create a colorful Candle Box gift set but this project can be used for all of your gift giving needs and more!

Tracy Evans is no stranger to 3-D projects and her latest creation is as wonderful as ever! Tracy has used my Make it 3-D, Passport Book, and Recipe Card dies to create a trifecta of three dimensional Mixed-Media magic with DecoArt Media. I’m just giddy over those accent frames aren’t you?

More Art with Heart June Challenge: Summer Fun with Sizzix

How is the summer going for you so far? I am in Alaska celebrating our 35th anniversary so mine is pretty amazing so far! I hope yours is too…

Here’s a look at what our amazing Inspiration Team has created for you- these projects are sure to get your creative juices flowing!

Pam Bray has been busy- she has two projects to share this month. Who wouldn’t love this fun bridal shower decor? See how Pam created the romantic Travel Trailer stack on her blog here.

Here Pam made an adorable Cupcake Box and Tag using the Block/Cube/Bank die and Luggage Tag to wrap up a sweet treat!

Button button who’s got the button? I think it’s Lisa Hoel! She loves buttons so much that she covered an Artist Trading Block with them. See her work of art here and how she made it.

Michelle Zerull had fun with DecoArt paint and Sizzix dies. Don’t you dig this desert scene? Michelle used the Candy Cup die to make a crackled Succulent Plant Pot!

From the heat of the desert to some nice cold ice cream… Anne Redfern has turned the Travel Trailer die into an Ice Cream Trailer! Hop on over to Anne’s blog and see her recipe for coolness.

Anna-Karin Evaldsson is the queen of mixed media! She used some fun Deco-Art paints, the Luggage Tag and the Make-It-3D die to create a 3D Luggage Tag for storing a gift or small surprise. See how on her blog.

Hey there! Summer is right around the corner! Here at Art with Heart we are celebrating the upcoming Summer season with a new challenge for the month of June. This months theme is Summer Fun with Sizzix! Blow the dust off some of your old dies and get creative or treat yourself to some new Sizzix dies. No matter how you choose to create you are sure to have some Summer fun when you get creative with Sizzix. Art with Heart Challenge April “Spring Break”

Hello everyone! In celebration of the release of my new Sizzix collection Vintage Travel the Inspiration Team will be sharing Vintage Travel themed projects all month-long. We also have a new Art with Heart Challenge for you to play along with for a chance to win a die from the Vintage Travel collection! Our theme this month is “Spring Break”. We invite you to take the road less “traveled” by and try something new….anything goes here so stretch your creative wings!
