More latest release fun & Eileen Hull happenings…

Hi everyone! 

Thanks so much to the late night souls who joined me on the Craft Showdown Friday night. It was lots of fun although my projects were not top notch – completing a project in 10 minutes is harder than it sounds! Today I will be a guest on the Craft Showdown Lowdown at 8PM. Next week we are headed to the beach for our annual family vacation. I am starting to pack up some craft supplies to bring along as it’s kind of a tradition now – there’s a table set up with supplies and anyone who’s interested can sit down and create. One of my favorite places!

Today I am excited to share a project that started out as a watercolor warmup and took a strange but cool detour. Join me and I’ll share how fun and easy these are to create. I’m using my Swatch Card and Fan Favorites stamp sets and a watercolor palette. Hope you can join me in creating these! If you don’t have the stamps you can find them in my Etsy store.


On Thursday, Margaret and I will be creating with the Journaling Card, Envelope and Windows die. If you have it, take it out and play along with us! If you don’t have it, you can find it HERE. Click on the graphic to take you to the video!


This weekend I went through all the big sheets of beautiful handmade papers I found at Marco’s Paper and cut them down into packages. The paper packs are about 9″ x 12″ (some larger)-  the patterns and textures are so beautiful! I have lots of ideas for ways to use this product so look for some some livestream projects coming soon! I created this book using one of the papers on the last live – watch HERE.

Eileen Hull Sizzix Dies – Inspiration from the Creative Team!

Pam Bray cleverly used the Rainbow Wheel Die Set to create lemons for her first card. She used the same die set to make a celebratory mixed media card as well. Check out both here.


Teresita Arvelo made a fab garden journal using the Handbound Journal Die as a base and filling it with all sorts of garden goodness. Check it out here and be sure to follow her on Instagram.


Designer Elizabeth Robinson crafted this gorgeous journal with metallic accents and Japanese paper. She filled the inside with black pages and used them to swatch metallic watercolors. Lovely! Check out the details here.


Keeping up with Eileen Hull…

Hi all – hope you had a great weekend! The weather here is rainy and a little cool. We had a nice quiet weekend and spent Father’s Day with our youngest daughter and family.  

I have been trying to tidy up and found some handmade paper I had bought a while ago at Marco’s Paper. It’s so pretty that I decided to use it in today’s video – I will be posting some handmade paper kits in my Etsy shop if you’d like to give it a try. The weight of this paper is really nice for this cool technique of book-binding. I’ll also have some tips on other supplies needed to create this pretty watercolor journal.


For our Realeather class this week, we are making this embossed and stamped Recipe Journal. These techniques are great to know as you can personalize your projects by stamping a name or date on the finished project to create bespoke items.

Hi all, I’m finally back in a somewhat normal routine after our trip.This weekend we went out to our house in Delaware to get it ready for the summer renters. Luckily I was able to squeeze in some thrifting in between cleaning and painting 🙂 Is this something you would like to see in a craft live? Eileen Hull’s Trip & Making a Travel Journal with Sizzix Dies

Making a travel journal with Eileen…

Hi all, we are back from our two week river cruise through Hungary, Austria, Germany and Netherlands! What a trip it was – I don’t ever want to forget it! And if I don’t record this trip right away, I might! So I hope you will join me this week as I work in my travel journal. I created it the night before we left and I kept pretty good notes, but now I want to add photos and ephemera I picked up along the way. I hope you will join me as I create; just click on the graphic below! I’m using the Handbound Journal, Key Embossing Folder, Vegtan leather and some assorted papers and ephemera. 


I must apologize for the lack of sound in the One Page Wonder video. It posted while I was away. I’m not sure what I did wrong but will try and see if I can fix it – so annoying!


On Thursday’s livestream, I will continue to work in my journal – let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to cover! I am excited to pick up my photos at Walgreen’s and add them into the journal!


Thanks to all who helped to keep the channel going while I have been away – Lisa Hoel came through with excellent newsletters where she shared the team’s gorgeous projects and Debbie kept the Etsy store going. Thanks to all who are sharing their projects in the Eileen Hull Fan Club – my internet was frequently slow and I am still catching up. Other News from Eileen…

Hi all – I am back from my trip to h + h americas and Great Lakes MegaMeet! It was a lot to pack in and many hours on the road but I am so glad I went! The best part of the trip was connecting with friends and exploring new partnership opportunities.

The day after I left, the May Release products arrived here at the house and Debbie quickly got them shipped out to you. I hope you have had some time to create with them. If so, make sure to post in the Fan Club so we can see what you have been up to!

We leave for our two week river cruise on Saturday. I will have a video or two for you scheduled on YouTube because I hear that the internet is not great on the boat. Make sure you are SUBSCRIBED TO MY CHANNEL and have notifications turned on so you will be notified when a new video goes live 🙂

From Eileen: I had an amazing weekend! My friend Katharina, who is the publisher of Creative Scrapbooker, came in on Thursday night, and on Friday morning, the Scrapbook Expo kicked off! It was wonderful to check out the products and connect with both new and familiar faces. After the event, several of us went out for dinner to catch up. It was so much fun!

Teresita Arvelo created this cheerful little book for list making using the Notebook Die. It’s the perfect size to keep close at hand for when inspiration or need strikes! See all the pics in her post.


Sue Eldred revisited the past with this beautiful Mini Album project. She dug deep into her stash for an old K & Company patterned paper collection and used it for the album. (I loved that company too!) You can see more here.

This weekend I painted my front porch! It’s amazing how much better it looks and although I was a little sore, it was well worth the two days work. The fresh new color makes me very happy. Lisa Hoel had an embroidered felt journal cover (made using the retired Book Box Die) that had been sitting around since ahem… 2022. She finished the journal by creating all in the inside pages using stamps, the Plate & Pattern Stencil Set and postage stamps cut using all three of Eileen’s posage die set.
