Eileen Hull’s Trip & Making a Travel Journal with Sizzix Dies

4 Jun

Making a travel journal with Eileen…

Hi all, we are back from our two week river cruise through Hungary, Austria, Germany and Netherlands! What a trip it was – I don’t ever want to forget it! And if I don’t record this trip right away, I might! So I hope you will join me this week as I work in my travel journal. I created it the night before we left and I kept pretty good notes, but now I want to add photos and ephemera I picked up along the way. I hope you will join me as I create; just click on the graphic below! I’m using the Handbound Journal, Key Embossing Folder, Vegtan leather and some assorted papers and ephemera.

I must apologize for the lack of sound in the One Page Wonder video. It posted while I was away. I’m not sure what I did wrong but will try and see if I can fix it – so annoying!

On Thursday’s livestream, I will continue to work in my journal – let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to cover! I am excited to pick up my photos at Walgreen’s and add them into the journal!

Thanks to all who helped to keep the channel going while I have been away – Lisa Hoel came through with excellent newsletters where she shared the team’s gorgeous projects and Debbie kept the Etsy store going. Thanks to all who are sharing their projects in the Eileen Hull Fan Club – my internet was frequently slow and I am still catching up. Please know I appreciate it and love seeing what you are creating!

Creative Team projects for June!

Welcome to June! As there were so many individual items in the May Release we will have another month sharing more wonderful inspiration and projects each week from the Creative Team.

Pam Bray used the Handbound Journal to create both a box and a journal to fit inside of it. Both makes feature layers of ephemera, stamping and die cuts using the rest of Eileen’s May Release too! Check out Pam’s post for all the details.

Designer Sarah Lizzie used the Rainbow Wheel Thinlits Die Set to make a fun pair of earrings. Very clever! You could make these in any color combo to match a certain outfit. Love it! Check out the details here.

Meet Eileen

I grew up in a big family where there was always an art project in the works. Learning to think creatively has been a huge benefit throughout my life: from thirteen military moves and raising four children to developing product lines for craft manufacturers. Come visit and see a slice of my life...
