May Sizzix Release – Classic Dies from Eileen Hull

We are celebrating the May Sizzix release of three of Eileen Hull’s classic die designs. These favorite retired designs have been brought back for your crafting creativity! They are the Notebook Die, the Stacking Drawer Box Die and the Treasure Box Die. The Notebook and Drawers all fit perfectly into the Treasure Box so you can mix and match them together for all sorts of project combinations.

Maggi Harding is going to start us off this week with a matching trio of projects using each of the three dies. She used the same Graphic 45 paper collection for them all and I love those bright colors! Find all the details on her blog.

Designer Lisa Hoel used the Notebook Die to cut a cover out of wool felt which she then embellished with antique lace, beads and felt flowers. Inside you’ll find vintage bridal themed ephemera. Pay her blog a visit to see the interior and get all the info!

Re-doing a project from when the Notebook Die was first released, Jennie Atkinson has created a lovely folio style journal full of pockets and flaps. You will not want to miss all the details and video tutorial for this project so head on over to Jennie’s post.

Susie Bentz needed something to hold all the ATCs she made for an art challenge so she turned to the Treasure Box Die. Looks like it’s a perfect fit for ATCs! I’m also inspired by Susie’s use of washi tape to decorate the box. Brilliant! Find all the instructions in her blog post.

Crafting Seasons’ Greetings Inspiration

We are getting well into the holiday season now. Here in the USA Thanksgiving is in about two weeks! All this month on the blog, Eileen Hull’s Teams are crafting hard to bring Seasons’ Greetings inspiration to you! Time to get crafty!

Julia Aston created a beautiful stand to hold photos of holiday memories using Eileen’s Display Stand Die. The festive patterned paper and darling little trees and deer really make this project special. See Julia’s blog post for all the details and instructions!

Designer Mitsyana Wright used Eileen’s new Teacup Die to create this absolutely adorable Christmas card. Just because a die is a Scoreboards die, you don’t have to use it only to make 3-D projects. As Mitsyana shows us, you can use them to cut patterned paper and use the elements on things like cards! See all the details in her blog post.

Stitching up some Christmas cuteness is Susie Bentz! She was inspired to turn a card design she previously made into felt Christmas Snowman Mitten ornaments. Eileen’s steel rule dies make short work of cutting heavier substrates! You will not want to miss Susie’s instructions and variations in her blog post. Head on over to check it out.

Maggi Harding also created some beautiful Christmas cards using Eileen’s dies. Who wouldn’t want to receive one of these in the mail? In our final set of cards for the week, Jenny Marples has some delightful snowman cards to share with us. I really love the atypical color scheme that she chose. Hey everyone! We are back again with MORE Kunin and Sizzix Heartfelt Project Tutorials! All month long we have been collaborating with the Kunin DT and sharing projects created using Kunin Felt and my new Heartfelt Sizzix Collection. Today we have tons of inspiration plus a special announcement!

Our first project comes from new Inspiration Team member Jenny Marples ! I’m sure many of you are familiar with Jenny’s lovely makes and if not be sure to have a browse through her blog as creative inspiration abounds. Her inaugural team project is a real stunner. Jenny shares a fabulous felt Passport Book Journal covered in Stitchy flowers and exquisite stitched details.
