This month the designers are sharing their love of journals and are using Eileen Hull’s latest dies and embossing folder from Sizzix. Jennie Atkinson also focused on using the Library Pocket ATC Card & Tabs Die Set in a small wallet album created in a beautiful shabby chic style. Fibers, Fabric and Felt Wrap Up

March has come to an end. What a month of inspiration it’s been! The designers used fibers, fabric and felt in their creations and they did a stupendous job. Eileen’s dies (steel rule and Thinlits) cut easily through fabric and felt so the crafty possibilities are endless. We have some bonus projects and ideas to look at this week so let’s get going…

Lisa Hoel got stitchy with her felt and fabric journal cover. The cover pieces were cut out of thick felt using the Book Box Die and then covered with oodles of embroidery and appliqued wool plaid fabric pieces. See more over on Lisa’s blog post!

Guess what material Madeline Arendt used in her stationery Book Box mashup? Wood veneer and she decorated it with pyrography! Wow! She also made a set of notecards to go inside featuring flowers and the Snail Mail Die Set. Find out all her secrets in her post.

She used Eileen’s Wonderful World of Flowers Stamp Set as the pattern for her wood burning.

Jennie Atkinson made a perfectly lovely folio journal using the Book Box Die. It has a beautiful flowery spring vibe and the inside is full of delightful pockets, flaps, tags and other interactive elements. Find more and a video on Jennie’s blog.

Last but not least, Tonya Trantham wins the day with her totally awesome die storage up-cycling project! She turned an old dresser drawer into a sturdy rolling cart to house her Eileen Hull Scoreboards die. She rolls it under a sideboard in her craft room for easy access. Brilliant! Check it out here.

Have you been enjoying our March theme this month? The designers are using fibers, fabric and felt in their creations as accents as well as major parts in their constructions. Eileen’s dies (steel rule and Thinlits) cut easily through fabric and felt so the crafty possibilities are endless. Let’s take a look at this week’s inspiration!

Easter is coming and Sarah Lizzie is ready! Just look at this super cute Easter treat box she made using the Book Box Die. This would be so much fun to make to give to a child. This week we have more fibers, fabric and felt inspiration for you! That is our March theme and the designers have been killing it. They are using them for accents on projects as well as major parts in their constructions.
