Three dimensional art... with heart
The Paper Trail trip cross country this fall really did a number on my poor little vintage trailer Scotty. In Utah, I was stopped at a light and was hit from behind by two guys in an overfilled pesticide truck. They crunched in Scotty’s back left fender which caused a good sized dent plus internal injuries to the bed where I slept.
Where oh where did January go? We are a whole month into 2015 and the Inspiration Team has shared tons of “Fresh Ideas” to get your creativity going. Today Team ATB will be sharing some Fresh Artist Trading Block Ideas. I’ll also be sharing some of your fresh ideas with the winner and Top 3 projects submitted to our Fresh Ideas challenge. Finally, today I can share the latest collection the team and I have been working on! Vintage Travel was inspired by the three teaching trips I made in 2014 in my vintage camper (and you may see some resemblance to Scotty here!)…
Here are just a few of the sample designs that my amazing Inspiration Team created for me to bring and show the world at CHA. I want to thank them all for the beautiful samples that I will proudly display. You will be seeing more in the weeks to come but these dies will not be shipping until April. Booo! That’s the hardest part- to wait!

To say that 2014 was a great year would be a SERIOUS understatement! So much has happened this past year. I’ve launched two new collections, two design teams, hosted the Art with Heart challenge and gone on the creative adventure of a lifetime not once but thrice! I can only imagine what lies ahead in 2015…big things are coming. For now I want to take a moment to share the favorite projects of my fabulous Inspiration Team designers that they created in 2014. (How did I get so lucky to have these lovely ladies creating with my Sizzix designs? Somebody pinch me 🙂
Shelly Hickox never fails to create lovely projects but I must say I was quite tickled to see she had chosen her gorgeous Botanical Tea Canister as her favorite as it is one of my favorites too. Every detail is downright gorgeous don’t you think?

Hi all- just a quick post before 2014 comes to a close…
I want to thank everyone who entered our December Art With Heart Challenge this month! There were some beauties that really got the old creative holiday mojo in gear.
Congratulations to Bonnie McLain who wowed us with her technique filled tags this month!
Bonnie is the winner of the December Challenge and will receive the Loaf Pan die- it actually traveled the country with me and Scotty on the Paper Trail!
We loved the soft holiday colors and creative ingredients used in this Holiday Matchbox created by Tonya Trantham!
Canadian Nickel really did it up in ScoreBoard style creating a Vintage Tree Lot (with Camper!) and Holiday ATB Gift Boxes! Congrats Nicole- your work is amazing!
