Terroriffic Tuesday #2
Time for another Halloween project! This fun necklace was made from a piece of black matboard cut from the Sizzix Scalloped Circle die. I added some silver Stickles to write the word “Boo” and filled the middles of the letters with orange paint. I used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes at the bottom of the pendant and glued on a scalloped book page at the bottom which was inked with orange. A tiny white ghost went on top of the triangle. I added an orange eyelet and a jump ring to attach the pendant to the chain. So spooky!

Virtual Baby Shower
I blog weekly over at the Memory Keeping Collection. Earlier this month, our editor had a baby and we decided to throw her a shower. However, we are located all across the country. So we decided to post all of our projects on the site today and put the gifts we created for Karen in the mail. Problem solved. Some days you just have to love this whole internet thing 🙂
Here’s my project. For instructions and more photos, head over to my post. What fun this was! Many blessings to the Gaulke family on their new arrival…
Gearing up…
It is finally getting fall-ish around here and I am loving it. What can I say, I’m a New York girl at heart and love the seasons! But here’s one last look at summer taken on our trip to Florida in July.
This has been an unbelievably busy week- trying to get dies done for the next release, getting things together for the next blog hop (you are NOT going to believe how cool this is going to be!), planning for the Barn Sale, attempting to get my first official newsletter up and running (that’s not going so well) and keeping up with some difficult family situations. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade any of it… as they say, “Variety is the spice of life”. Man, is it spicy around here…
I read a cool blog post on The Hive today about choosing optimism by Carolee Clark that really struck a chord with me. To see lots of great projects and connect with designers, click here to join this group. It’s like Facebook for crafters!
Have a fun weekend everyone…
