We have more fall inspiration from the Creative Team and Eileen is back from her trip and ready to get back to craftiness! Here’s what she has to report:
Hi all – I am back from an amazing anniversary cruise to Greece and Italy! We went with good friends and it was so nice to travel together and share some unique adventures including a volcanic eruption, an Italian wedding and a torturous hike up a cliff with 150 donkeys.
In Salerno, we found a cool leather store called Bosso – this is a pic of me and Alberto, the owner. We had a nice chat and I bought a purse for me and wallet for Hayward.
I have a little cold but the laundry is done and I am ready to get back in my studio and create!
Join me for a quick trip recap, a look at some of the souvenirs I brought back and a fun idea for creating a Lacy Leaves Banner using the new Lacy Leaves A-5 embossing folder and Tunnel Arches.
On Thursday, I want to re-create my Santorini memories – such a beautiful place. The houses were white and everything else seemed to be blue – the sky, ocean, Greek flag, pottery, art and even clothing – so fresh and crisp! I decided to make a shadowbox using my Shadowbox #2, Shadowbox Elements and Tunnel Arches dies. I’m going to make one for each of the couples we traveled with and give for Christmas.
Fall Inspiration – Projects from the Creative Team!
This month her Creative Team is using Eileen’s new Home Sweet Home Collection from Sizzix to make projects with a Fall/Halloween themed twist!
Maggi Harding created this cool Halloween tag decoration. She used the Tunnel Arches and Windowsill Vase & Flowers die sets plus the Lacy Leaves embossing folder. Check out more details in her post!
Jennie Atkinson made this beautiful autumn mini album using the Tunnel Arches set for the base and also the Windowsill Vase & Flowers set. I spy some Lacy Leaves peeking through the cover too! Watch the video below for a look at the lovely insides and a tutorial.

On the road again…
Attention California Friends!
I am headed out on October 25-26 to teach at the gorgeous Frank Garcia Studio in Upland, CA (located about an hour west of LA). I’ll be teaching two classes. I would love to see you and Frank’s store is definitely worth a trip – I think it is the most beautiful store I have ever been in. (REGISTER HERE)
Eileen’s Etsy Shop is open…
