All Things Altered Fall Halloween Blog Hop

27 Oct

I am excited to join in (even though it’s late) to Pam Bray’s blog hop. Pam has the best hops! I am at Quilt Market in Houston and have had some technical issues but just wanted to share a pic of the project I did.

I love collecting old spice racks and jars because there are so many ways to use them. Here is a one that I did and have right close to my craft table. The only problem is it’s so cute all filled up I don’t want to use the supplies!
I spray painted the lids of the jars with different colors.
Each jar is labeled with a different quality that has to do with creativity.
I filled each jar with craft supplies and hang it on the wall.
This one’s for you Pam Bray!
Hope you liked it…

OMG Eileen, I love it! I have always loved spice racks, but have found it much more convenient to keep the jars in a drawer in my kitchen. Now I have an excuse to use them & a great storage solution for my crafting accessories. The standard crafting boxes & containers hold so little. Thanks for sharing. Barbara x

This is not only elegant and aesthetically pleasing but so useful too…may be on the wishlist of all crafters 🙂

What a fun project, Eileen. Love the pretty colors you used, and the labels are adorable. A beautiful addition to any crafter’s room.

I love the colours you have used to create this and it certainly inspires the inner creative in me to have a go at doing this. tfs

What a fun idea! I may do something similar for my craft group! What fun to get goodies with those fun attributes listed on them!

Oh it is so pretty-I would be able to use the things in them either. Really love the labels-how did you make them?

Beth W – I created the labels in Illustrator and then used a punch to cut them out. You could use whatever software you are comfortable with though…

Sweet! I wish I had room for something like that.
