Happy Birthday Chris!

21 Aug

Wish I could give you a big hug today. Kind of hard to do when you are in Iraq. This seems like a good time to tell you how proud I am of you. For being the son, husband and father that you are. For not complaining about missing half of your daughter’s life so far. For always sounding upbeat even in 130 degrees. For your kindness and gentleness even though you are a big tough guy soldier. For doing your job, day in and day out without a break.

I want you to know that we miss you. Every day I pray you will come back safely and there are many others doing the same. Thanks for being such a great son. I love you.

    Mom,
I shoulda read your blog earlier! I forgot it was my birthday until I came out of the city to get mail and do some other stuff…but I know you’ll never forget that day. Thank you for the great care package. Despite the size of the box, it didn’t last very long. We are still struggling with the resupply out in the city and the PX in Basrah is nothing compared to other major camps here in Iraq. They’re workin on it though. Thanks for actioning on my suggestion – I was only half serious about the Diet Soda thing…only because I know how much you love it. i miss you and hope you enjoy your time with Dawn and Trinity this december.
    love,
    Chris

Good to hear from you! Did you call this weekend? I ran into MFC to get Mary’s last check and saw a weird # and thought it might have been you. Glad you could get on line. I can’t wait till you are HOME! Love you- Mom

Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and good luck! Web Design Company
