Art with Heart Challenge: January “Fresh Ideas”

6 Jan

Hey everyone!  With the arrival of 2015 we have the opportunity for a fresh start.  For our first Art with Heart challenge of the new year we want you to share your “Fresh Ideas”.  As usual the Inspiration team will be sharing their “Fresh Ideas” here each Tuesday.  Let’s take a look at what the IT has in store for us this week…

Tracy Evans  starts us off with a “Fresh Idea” that will have you thinking spring!  I love the cool colors of this card design and the textured petals really pop!  Tracy used my Petal Power die to create this stunning card and a whole lotta’ inking, stenciling and embossing techniques to boot!

Visit Tracy’s Blog for a tutorial blooming with fresh mixed-media tricks, tips and techniques!

Amy Bowerman shows a fresh idea on how to get out of a creative rut in true Pop Art style with her Andy Warhol Inspired Artist Trading Block creation!

Pop on over to Amy’s blog for some fresh ATB techniques and some sage advice from Mr. Warhol.

Stay tuned next week for more “Fresh Ideas” from the Inspiration Team and be sure to link up YOUR creations here for a chance to win the 3-D oven die from my new Sizzix Collection Vintage Kitchen.

I can’t wait to see what you create!

This is my first time and post. I really like your card. Is it okay if I can save it. Also how do I do it, I am new at this.

Hi Rita- I am so glad you found my blog! It sounds like you were inspired to create a card like Tracy’s that was featured. That is fabulous because that is what the Art With Heart Challenge is all about. We want to get you inspired to create cool art too! If you want to try and create something like Tracy’s card, I would advise you to click on the link under the project and head over to Tracy’s blog and see her tutorial on how she did it. Would love if you would share your version back here. To do that you just click on the little thimbnails at the bottom of the page and include a link to your project. Please email me at EileenHull@aol.com if you have questions. Also if you want to see the reply, click the box in the comments that says be notified of replies to this comment! Thanks Rita- happy crafting!
