Sizzix Spring Linky

26 Mar

We had such fun doing the Sizzix Fresh Vintage blog hop last fall that we figured it was time for the Reunion Tour! So you are going to see some fun spring Sizzix projects from your favorite designers. Click on the links below to see what everyone is up to:

I needed a spring wreath for my front door. I wrapped a 12″ STYROFOAM wreath with ribbon that I had gotten on a fun field trip to the ribbon outlet for $1 per bag. In my CHA sample making frenzy, I had amassed quite a collection of die cut Sizzix flowers made from fleece, felt, bubble wrap, paper, canvas and cotton fabrics. So I decided to add these to the wreath along with some leaves. I used a glue gun to adhere the flowers to the ribbon and added a ribbon hanger to the back. Simple, quick and in my favorite spring colors.

If you would like to enter to win the Fringed Flower die, please visit the designers’ blogs and leave them comments. If you feel so moved, please feel free to follow their blogs too. (who doesn’t like a little blog love?) Then come back here to let me know which is your favorite project. I will pick a winner on Thursday night.

What are you working on this time of year?

Just adore all the elements you used to create your blooms! I don’t have this die, yet. It looks so versatile, Eileen.

I’m so glad you’re doing this again! I had so much fun in the fall. I love this fun, colorful wreath and I had a great time hopping around (although Gretchen’s post doesn’t appear to be up yet….I’ll check back later on that one). I think my favorite was how Monika used the die to create a little insert in her mini. So clever.

Love your wreath, Eileen! I am dusting off the travel cobwebs and jumping in to a project as soon as I can clear a space! Can hardly wait to put a “spring” in my step. (See what I did there?)

LOVE the wreath .. especially this shade of blues with the green ribbon. Your design of using various flowers looks perfect. Bubble wrap flowers? I missed that tutorial, lol!
    Happy Spring!

What a lovely wreath! I love how you made the different flowers in fabrics and felt, perfect for Spring. I have your 3d Tea cup and I have had so much fun using it. I need some of those flower dies too! LOL. 😉

Like the ease of making this wreath. I may take some of my fabric scraps and tear them for a wreath like this and of course use those wonderful flowers dies of yours for adding to it Eileen. This is so much fun to share all these ideas!

Such a pretty wreath! I bought a wreath form a few weeks ago and making a ribbon wreath is on my craft to-do list. Love what you did with yours, especially those flowers. ~Stephanie
